Beautiful song, Miguel. Proves yet again how Mr. Squire is such a master at taking something so simple and turning it into a powerful and emotionally charged masterpiece! Gooseflesh inducing stuff, indeed! Your rendition of this song, as usual, is right on the money. Thanks for sharing it with us...
@whiskeyvengeance Yes indeed, was dropped from the set list early on that tour and by the time they came here it wasn't there anymore. Still a great song!
Hello there! Fellow bassist here, and Yes fan. I was in a Yes tribute band a while back. It was lots of fun! Your Zon 8-string sounds just like Chris' Ranney 8-string bass. And your playing is excellent! I wanted to ask you, is your 8-string tuned in octaves, or fifths?
@pecanpie100 Hi again :) For this song (and others) I did like Chris - E and A strings are in standard octaves and D and G in fifths. Thanks for watching and have fun playing!
Excellent yet again Miguel. Thanks once again for showing the way and yes I love the 8 string but it goes on my wish list of instruments for now. Take care mate and keep the brilliant videos coming. Just love em.
@motorpsych0 Thanks Robert! The Ladder has some really nice musical moments. Chris brought back the 8-string for 2 songs and that made it even more interesting.
I'm suddenly very much missing Jon Anderson even though I have a ticket to see the "three-fifths" of YES perform next month in Pittsburgh. I actually wish there was a way hear songs like this performed again.

Awesome! It does not have to be complex to be beautiful. Thanks again for bringing an obscure yet relevant piece of music to the forefront.

@klxmaster14 Exactly... without the two extremes we wouldn't be able to feel the contrast and enjoy ... including what's in between. Thanks!
