I love the originality of horror in this film. Most films keep hitting us with the "silence then quick shock" effect and while it works at times, it's getting a little predictable and old and can fail at it. Now they did that in the last scene a few times, but it worked. Usually though they get to be able to just walk up to the scene in an eerie silence like in the house at the end, and it's really creepy.

I remember when I first saw this movie about a year and a half ago, I thought that Ginger didn't feel anything for her sister, no matter how hard Brigitte tried to keep her sister with her, and alive and human. and I wanted to hit her so bad for how badly ginger treated Brigitte. But now that I view the movie again I can see that Ginger Does indeed Love Brigitte, but it's an abusive love. The kind you see on T.V between a wife and husband.

I think the look for Ginger at the beginning of this is the best. Sort of a trance-like and frail looking state, but when you get her mad INCREDIBLY strong and violent. I love her walk in the hallway after we see the janitor's throat slashed and her description of her change and the thrill she gets out of it. Very spooky, original, and smart. Best werewolf and developing girl movie ever! I just count myself lucky I didn't see this when I was 8 cause I had a bad experience with werewolves lol.

Yeah, I was really young and saw this one movie (I can admit it sucked now that I'm used to horror movies but back then I wasn't) and I got messed up. I couldn't take a shower without someone being upstairs cause I thought I heard strange noises in the hallway, I had to sleep with my mom for 3 years, and when my dad went for his nightime walks I thought he was morphing into a werewolf for awhile. I know that's stupid, but back then I didn't know any better.
