The fact that its not a Square Enix RPG, means that its going to be a good game because SE have been making some serious crap these days.

The reason I adore this game is because it feels like I'm playing an old school PS1 RPG. Its quite nostalgic for some reason, if you ask me.

I agree that it might have looked better on the psp, but the graphics are rather good for DS standards, especially taking in account the massive overworlds and dungeons. The gameplay is actually fun, and the music is even better.

I own a copy of the game and there are no anime cutscenes and the story is pretty dumb so far. A kid wants to go save his dad (I haven't gotten far in the game so I don't know if the plot will thicken just yet) and it's basically a stereotypical JRPG.
