The guy was obviously slower, granted. But there's nowhere in the rules that says if the car in you're about to lap doesn't move over immediately, you can punt them into the weeds. Again, a race ref always warns drivers that are about to be lapped to move to one side. In both the incidents, the onus was on the approaching world class driver to use a modicum of common sense. I'm sure they'd be the first to admit it and don't need defending.

Same goes for the collision at 25secs. Pointless and rather greedy attempt to be on the racing line at the same time. I think a race ref on the rostrum would have warned the driver being lapped, but even so - a take-out like this showed very poor etiquette/racecraft and didn't do anyone any favours - another 10sec stop/go if ever I saw one. Repeated errors like this at any big event would likely lose you your best qualifying time. Even if you're Drake or Mayfield! LOL!

The collisions seemed pretty careless for drivers at that level, especially for an exhibition type race. The jumping seemed inconsistent. The rear ender at 2m10secs would have seen the driver penalised at any track I've raced at here in the UK. I've done a spot of race controlling myself and incidents like that would definitely have resulted in 10 second stop/go. I doubt the innocent driver being lapped would have been happy about it either TBH.

Quite besides which, it's not really the point. The crash at 25 seconds clearly cost the innocent driver time, if not a position as well - certainly another car drove past. On on the accident at 2m 10, how do you know it lead to nothing? The camera is concentrating on the front runners only. The accident on the triple could very easily have lead to the innocent car retiring.

@Lillie1986 . If you were driving the car that was wiped out from behind, you certainly wouldn't want to hear people saying it was an accident on 'both's behalf' back in the pits. Not unless you want the innocent parties to pack up and go home. No factory team would want that footage in any promo!! LOL. You expect knocks at races, but not from class drivers lapping with Joe public - not unless it is genuinely a 'racing incident'. Treating the back markers like they don't exist is unsporting.

@Lillie1986 No, it was just careless - perhaps a little selfish. But that's what a race ref is there for. If that's how the A finalists race, imagine how the H final would turn out if it was left un-checked!!! It would be like a demolition derby!! LOL.

The video is very true, they were in PR December 2008 in Landfill raceway park in Juncos, Drake, Maifield, travis Amezcua, Ronda Skelton, Alan burton, Kody King all where here in PR.

Next Year will be a 3 race series that will include this track, nitro pit and revelations, so if you don't know stuff, don't call it a fake!!

Notice how every time Maifield hit a jump his nose went way up. This is obviously fake. Plus only mike truhe runs all yello bodys. Plus I've never seen Ryan run that motor before......... FAKE

where do you get this stuff? all yellow bodies are run as practice bodies by anyone. and just because the truck gets caught in the wind and the nose rises doesn't mean its not ryan... and the motor? pros test prototype products all the time. it looks to me like its the new reedy engine
