the LOVE album :'Forever Changes'....the double' :OUT HERE (w. - :'SIGNED DC.!)was one of the greatest ...of 5/6 albums of the 60's!!!!!!!!!Others being The12 dreams of.Dr Sardonicus..by Spirit;After Bathing at Baxters by the J.Airplane;Am.Beauty/Workingman's Dead by thG.D.; x2 Great Society albums;Several of Q.M.Service albums;Electricladyland by Hendrix;Electric Music for the Mind & Body by C.J.McDonald & the Fish;the Banana'Exp.Plastic Inev.by the Velvets & J.J /B.BrotherXXCreashonrebel
Sounds like they're playing in a singles bar.I can hear people babbling through out the song. Can't believe this is in the UK.I thought it only happens in New Jersey.Half of them probably didn't care or know who was on stage. That was a historical moment folks.
That bothers me about a lot of live music shows. Any true music lover would shut up and take in the precious gift of the artist. But in this world, most tickets are sold to drunk slobs looking to get laid, and the rest of us have to tolerate them.
There are two that I know of, an early one and a later one. The early one appears on the debut album 'Love' the later one (closer in style to this one) appears on 'Out There' Love have a number of great studio records as well. I'd suggest 'Forever Changes' 'Da Capo' & 'Four Sail' to begin with. Also, 'False Start' features Jimi Hendrix on guitar (on at least one track, though I've always suspected more than one) I hope that helps!
Rhino Records has their first album(self titled with the original studio version of this song) on record and i believe Compact Disc. It's an import thus a higher than normal price (25.00-35.00). Itunes is an option though(they have a greatest hits set with this song included).
I saw him play live many times and never tire of hearing his genius. When spoke to him after his show at Gilfest he was incredibly humble and thanked me!!! for taking the trouble to listen to his music. A true genius and a great human being. We shall never see his like again. RIP Arthur
Johnny Echols is certainly visible playing lead at the beginning of the song. Looks like both Mike and Johnny share lead guitar duties. A superb song and a great video, really. Thanks for sharing it! Arthur.... We miss you! You truly were the greatest, and you always had the greatest musicians playing with you - electric and orchestra.
Scientology ruins lives. It harasses critics. It breaks up families. It abuses the weak and the lost. It impoverishes the gullible, and then turns them to indentured servitude when they can no longer afford to pay their way to 'enlightenment'. Scientology plays on the victims vulnerability and pocketbook.
John Duignan, a top scientologist who escaped Scientology has given the most explosive insight yet into the shady celebrity religion. For John, it cost him everything and everyone he held dear after he became a leading figure in the churchs British branch.
John says he was so brainwashed that he would have killed for Scientology. And he claims another member was driven to a suicide bid when she was rehabilitated after trying to leave. John tells of his nightmare in his book, "The Complex".

@swagner64 right johnny's right behind arthur and u can hear his soulful leads with sustain for dayze. he still has the 60's sound...then the kid comes in late with his licks ..nice
Arthur Lee & Love are awesome and one of my top 10 favorite bands ever. Anyway I also wanna say if any of you fimilar with The Moody Blues. Well The Moody Blues biggest hit Nights In White Satin and the tune to this song Signed DC by Love have a very similar tune. Well Love influenced Pink Floyd and Pink Floyd influenced The Moody Blues so it makes since I guess.
I know the Moody Blues. My Mum plays 'Every good boy deserves favour' late at night with candles burning. I haven't heard that record for years man...I should probably dig it out. Love are among my top bands as well, good choice, sir!
Arthur kind of sounds like Bob Marley in the version on "Out Here". Critics say "Four Sail", "Out Here", and "False Start" are not that good. Don't listen to any of them. Especially about "Four Sail" and "Out Here" because the new band after the original was still really good and had some interesting jams on them. Singing Cowboy, August, are amazing. I'm Down, Stand Out and I Still wonder are great, too. And Jimi Hendrix appears on The Everlasting First.
If you haven't heard the album versions be prepared to hear works of genius & if you needed it a reason to not take drugs & if that doesn't do it listen to Sister Morphine by the Stones who wrote She's A Rainbow after hearing Loves' She Comes In Colours .

How can patrons spew off while this song was being played in beyond me.
When A. Lee was playing this song with the original group "LOVE" many years ago,
you could have heard a pin drop between notes.
