  • ALGO NO ENCAJA UNA MONEDA DE PLATA SE PONE NEGRA CON EL TIEMPO , ESA MONEDA ESTA BRILLANTE COMO EL PRIMER DIA '' ESA MONEDA SE PUSO HAY PRONTO , CUANDO UNA MONEDA TIENE MUCHO TIEMPO BAJO TIERRA SE PONE NEGRA PERO LA PLATA SE PONE NEGRA EN SOLO 2 SEMANAS BAJO TIERRA

  • great vids guys keep them coming!!!!

  • @pipersmitty87 Pmsl!!

I live next to a roman settlement, chester u/k look it up!

I find coins and brooches from 2000 years ago quite regular! seriously

So when i said 'nothing of it' , beleive me i meant 'nothing of it'

    Pmsl ere

Ps:do some research rather than spending time patronising people on youtube

  • My first hunt 2day. Found a penny from 1971 but thats about it. Any tips 4 me man?

  • @maxmann521 Take the time to learn the signals of the coins you want to find, and then just keep going out, you will find good targets, just keep trying. Thanks for watching and good luck to you!

  • @DeepSilverDetector I use the viper trident all purpose, wish I had the Garrett Ace 350. But my viper does pretty darn good. However, I must be tone deaf, cause I cannot hear a difference in the sound of coins. Big coins have the hardest signal, I pretty much know what i'm digging there. But other coins, I just don't hear. Also, I never go past preset. Maybe I should. I don't know. I'm still a noob Metal Detector.

  • 1953? blimey you guys have no history at all!.

I find coins from the 17th centuary quite regularly and dont think much about it.

Dont mean to knock you,my apols, but detecting is so much different here.

  • @carbonbodyworker Your right about that!, I would love to detect older countries

  • @DeepSilverDetector Yeh my apols,my post sounds a bit knocky,i didnt mean that but i just realised how lucky we are in the UK.Roman/saxon/viking finds are quite regular for us and i suppose we take it for granted.

I had a 1690 william III coin only the other day and thought little of it.

Best of luck in your future searches.

  • @carbonbodyworker Lets see...

  • @carbonbodyworker great comment - very useful to MD'ers. Pat yourself on the shoulder gently.

  • @pipersmitty87 How dya mean very usefull? if thats a sarcastic comment then remember i didnt come and post to give any info out,i posted as im shocked at how little history you have, even being the biggest country in the world!

The newest country in the world will probably be the one that ends it.

  • @carbonbodyworker FINALLY we get to the hateful root of your comment. I just found 3 pieces of silver today from early 1900(Mercury dimes). What did you find today? My Garrett AT Pro was made in the good Ol' USA by a company founded by Charles Garrett another great American. How is the newest country the one to destroy it? Soon we will elect a president who will keep troops in our own country and let yours fend for itself for the first time in history. That should be funny.

  • @pipersmitty87

Hey.you got a point ! we were struggling in ww2! everyone crumbled but us and it took you lazy fuckers 2 years to answer the phone!!

Remember it was a world war!! not just SAVING us!! you cheeky fat bastards!

Hitler would have atom bombed america if we hadnt held him off!

  • when u rub u make marks on the coin.

  • Did you know that in the U.K, We are banned from detecting in public parks and common land. The Pilgrim Fathers had it right !!

  • why you should not rub?

what happen when if you rub?

  • Hi.

    I just got a Cibola.

I find that it won't sound for Nickles if the Discriminate setting is at Nickles. I have to keep the Discriminate Knob considerably below Nickles (more towards Iron) for it to sound. Does yours act the same? Any tips with the Cibola, and how do you like it?

  • @biggstile On mine I just keep it below the nickel line and have no issues with finding nickels. It's a great detector, i love it! Thanks for watching

  • I found 2 dimes and a nickel today. None are silver though and only took me 7 hours of detecting. It was my 1st time I'm kind of hooked now. I need more practice though and I wonder what I let go today. I just want to get better at it.

  • ive just bought a metal detector garret ace 250.ive been to the beach,to a castle built in 1566,a ruined stately home, and an early norman fortress ,dating from around 13 century..cant find a damm thing!!!how is it possible to find nothing in these locations?!!

im giving up this metal detecting malarky!!

  • @jeaniehopkirk2 Don't give up. As a general rule the older the site the deeper the targets. The Ace 250 is able to detect coin size targets up to 8" deep depending on ground conditions, settings and coil selection. Keep at it, youll find some cool stuff.

  • @DeepSilverDetector thanks for the kind words..ill keep trying

  • good job!

  • The great thing about this hobby is you never know what you'll dig up next!, good luck, i'll look forward to your videos

  • ive just bought a metal detector and im all excited thaat i might find a treasure chest!! i live in scotland and there loads of historic sites around..maybe ill find a claymore or a crown or stack of gold coins...or maybe just an old tin can!..yeah im thinking old tin can

  • Awesome find!

  • Do you look for older parks?

    How old is that place?

The parks around my area, Minnesota, are so darn trashy. Was that park trashy?

You sure seem to have a nice site, there.

  • @biggstile This park was built in the 70's and either the coins were lost in the last 20 years or they were in the soil that was brought in when the park was made. I prefer hunting older parks, some of my best finds have been at older parks. But with older parks you have to exspect more trash, sometimes you have to dig the trash to get to the good stuff! Thanks for watching and your comments, good luck to you

  • Well done. As a coin collector I just wanted to let you know it's a bad idea to rub the surface of the coin with granuales on it. Best to dip in some water if you can. Good job guys.

  • wow realy good find

  • Very nice found ;0)

  • Nice Franklin half dollar i got one just like it to but its 1960 D.

  • Also nice Canadian Silver dollar

  • funny how thy are in such good condition lol

  • Nice big silver! Congratulations :) Nothing better than to see someone getting exited because they found something fine!!

  • Thanks for the video. I am trying to figure out what type of detector to get for my first real one (had one as a youngster that didn't work well). I want to get something that will go a reasonable depth, preferably let me know what I have to avoid junk, and will work say on the beach or if the coil gets a little wet. Could you possibly recommend one that could do all of this and hopefully not be an arm and a leg? Thanks

  • @marc0987654321 Thanks for your comments. In my area the ground is miniralized and that limits the depth on any detector. So depending on your area any mid range detector from Whites, Fisher, Tesoro, Minelab, technetics would be a good choice. $250 to $600

  • hell yea Im getting a Garrett!

  • Excellent finds! Keep the videos coming!

  • @olekyground Thanks for watching

  • Wow, do you guys find gold?

  • @ricadrew Not on this hunt, but I have found a couple of gold rings. Thanks for watching.

  • @DeepSilverDetector Would you recoment your detector? I'm looking for something a little better than a beginers, does your Garrette Ace 250 do decent amount of work in finding: gold and silver general coans, other metals, monster box's here and there, winning billion dollar lottery tickets, bin ladens ear ect...

  • man those coins are in nice shape

  • Nice!!

  • I KNOW THE FEELING WHEN YOU SEE THT WHITE COLOR STICKING THRU THE DIRT. ITS BETTER THEN SEX AN ADDITIVE

  • @edv177 Well I don't if its better than sex, but it's a good feeling to see silver in the hole. Thanks for watching

  • @edv177 i agree

  • That would be so cool to digg something like that up!!! I would probably pass out...LOL

  • @zekehooper It was cool that my wife found her first silver coin and me my first silver dollar, you just never know what you'll dig up, thats what make this hobby so great. Thanks for watching and your comments.

  • Sweet find!!!

  • why shouldnt u rub coins?

  • @calebulr You never know if the coin you found is valuble and rubbing it could scrach it and lower it's value. Thank for your comments and thanks for watching

  • That is my coin...I lost that in 1954.

  • i'm new to this..but what was the hand held device? is that part of the detector?

  • @ontap55 It's a pin pointer to help locate the target. Thanks for watching.

  • Tesoro Compadre $150 delivered to your door

  • I found a coin with chinese writing on it. Then I realized I was digging these holes much too deep. Guess my detector is much too sensitive.

  • Nice video and finds! Most of the better treasure is buried around 2" to 4" inches deep. Happy hunting! Cheers!

  • Two big silvers in one day, good 'nuff for me....

  • wow that canadian silver dollar is awesome! I hunt here in Vancouver, to find that would be rare even here!

  • nice find

  • Nice silver!!! Please check my newe detecting video! Thanks!

  • lets hunt

  • Thanks for watching, My wife was using a Garrett Ace 250, I was using a Tesoro Cibola. I now hunt with a Minelab Etrac. For a first detector, I would go with any entry level detector from the big names, Whites, Garrett, Minelab, Tesoro Fisher. A good entry level detector will run you about $200-$350. Look for one that meets your needs and price point. Good luck to you!

  • Hello, what kind of metal detector were you using because I'm looking for a good metal detector that works good. Happy hunting from Justin.

  • @HayZing Thanks for your comments,

  • Have you ever gone on an all night Olivia Newton John and crying jag?

  • @MarcfromTreasureNet1 No, but I'll bet you have, wanna tell us about it?

  • Very nice..!!!

Wish my wife would hunt with me. ...!!

    You're a lucky man sir.

    Happy Hunting.

  • N IMPORTE QUOI

  • Those Franklin halfs were such nice coins. That canadian silver $ is also a nice one.

    Good luck next time ;)

  • @ganimed1976 Thanks for watching and your comments

  • I have been doing metal detecting since 1982 and found a lot of silver coins, there is no chance in hell that you just dig this coin up from the ground, this coin is clean and no dirt attached to it. As we see of the video she pulled it up from the ground. By the way, I have a Garret Grounhog older model from 1985, and is a fantastic detector

  • @kasalaika2 she had already dug the coin out and I mention in the video that she already dug it. You need new glasses, there is dirt on the coin, and depending on the type of ground like loose dry or sandy ground, coins do come out just like that. Keep your negative comments to yourself, if you don't like what you see, then just move on

  • @DeepSilverDetector Isn't that the coolest thing in the world the first time. Clad coins look like crap in the ground, but ever silver coin I have ever found has looked just like those two. When you're in there with the probe and you see that flick of silver, it still get's my blood to pumping!! Pretty cool. Getting ready to get back into it. I'm semi retired now (age 48) and have not really detected since the age of 19. Used to love it. I'm sure I will again.

  • @amoskowitz0103 It's a great hobby, and your right about seeing silver in the hole or plug, cuz you know you found something good. Thanks for watching, hope you can get back into this great hobby

  • sweetness......

  • pardon my rudeness but how much could that silver fech? im new to detecing :D

  • @stip27 The half dollar is worth about $10 and the canadian dollar about $12 some old coins can be worth much more. I found a Barber dime worth about $250

Thanks for watching and the comments

  • dont stop bringing her shes to die for ;o)

  • Congrats on the Awesome Silver, my wife and I hunt as well.

  • Your wife looks like Jacki O. with the glasses on.

  • tite silvers great job nice finds

  • Great video and finds! Congrat's to you both! HH JackinAustin

  • Ya, be happy about that! HH

    YB

  • can sum1 plz plz plz tell me who they clean their coins! when i do it i break it or smudge the dirt more into the coin :(

good finds, i love my ace 250 :)

    HH

  • @xxDestinyxHopexx

the only thing you can do with it is wash it off with water. that is it. dont scrub it either, just wash with some water to avoid destroying its value

  • I thought hydrogen peroxide and dish soap works well but I could be wrong. I agree that you shouldn't scrub the coins with a brush. I never tried sonicating but I know they use it for jewelry so maybe that would be a possible option. At Harbor Freight they sell pretty inexpensive ones. There should be info on the web at the Numismatic societies and such that could probably give you the best info. I think they also use reverse electroplating methods too but not sure how that works.

  • That a great hunt .Nice edit job as well.

  • Enjoyed the video. Awesome find!!!

  • Congrats on your very first silver coins!

  • Congrats on big silver!! WTG Thanks for posting the video!!

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing and good luck on your next adventure. Congrats on the big silvers!!

    Best,

    Chris

  • Is there any pinpointing device that anyone prefers. Thanks

  • The Garret Pro Pointer is very popular, works very well and sells for about $127

  • -pbr2424

DeepSilverDetector is definately right! I just got the Garrett Pro Pointer because my Whites Bullseye ii was getting pretty beat up. The Garrett is very responsive to its hits and the sound it makes is exciting every time!

  • @pbr2424 i agree the garrett pro pointer works very well and is very accurate

  • Those two coins were awesome, I know how that feels.

  • My Garrett Ace 250 is in the mail!!! I do not have a clue about metal detecting yet but if it find it to be as interesting as it looks I feel sure I'll enjoy it. The doc told me to take up a healthy activity and to get out from behind my desk more often...I think this might just tick both boxes.

I live in Wales UK and I am within 10 miles of 5 castles so you might call my neck of the woods a 'target rich environment', I'll let you know ;)

    Thanks for the videos guys.

  • my garrett ace 250 was my first detector 2! i had no idea how to metal detec as well but now i have it its real easy, fun and simple! have you found anything really good with yours? my best find would be when i found 38, 2cent coins in 1 hole! although it says 8+ on the inch depth, it was still beeping when it was down 12 and 1/2 inches so that always good! HH, i no i will! lol

  • Good stuff!!

  • Congrat's on the silver coins! Thanks for showing the hunt.

  • pardon my stupid question, but why shouldnt you rub it? I am new to Metal Detecting, please be nice

  • There are no stupid questions...........Silver coins are a bit softer than regular coins, so rubbing them with dirt could scratch them......you want to be extra careful with silver coins, you may have found a rare coin and a scratch could lower the value..........Thanks for the question and watching my videos

  • thank you for the responce, and i loved the movie!

  • @DeepSilverDetector I know this is late but look at it like this. Especially where I live the dirt is nothing more than volcanic sand, very abrasive.. like sandpaper. Most soil matrix everywhere is the same to some extent, with much of the fine particulates nothing more than tiny rocks.

I just bought my first detector, cant wait to get at it. Have you had any luck now that your into this for some time?

  • First silver! Way to go! Thanks for taking us along!

  • Greats stuff! Congrats.

  • Congratulations on your first silver. Well done!

  • congrats on the awsome silver 2.5k, great video.. and thanks for taking us hunting.. great finds.. great job..

  • Those are Some LARGE silver coins!!Ive never found a silver dollar myself :) That place must be loaded if big silver like that is around...Keep hunting it..Thanks for sharing your adventure...HH

  • Great video! Congrat on two first `s. Good luck on your next hunt.
