  • Thanks to all who enjoy this video. Yes it is an epiphone les paul classic with EMG 85/81.

  • tap tap tap... ummm. I hope you know... you're guitar playing is audio panty remover...

  • Thank you kind sir. Panty dropping is my sole purpose of playing guitar.@gypsification

  • Can I have your guitar?

    :'}

  • bad ass!!!!!!!! im lovin the sound!!!!

  • Mavs rock too!

  • sick dude. that was rippin'. i tend to think of covers as other peoples rendition of the song. what this is, is a tribute. and well done at that. keep rockin'.

  • Bro, you f n' rock! That was awesome! As a die hard TOOL fan, I don't generally approve of anybody trying to cover, imitate, or reproduce the sacred sound. But you, my friend, did it with talent and respect. Nice work!

  • @abclark419 Wow, that means a lot my friend. Please check out my other videos as well. Im Guitarista on ToolArmy if you are with the collective unconscious.

  • I am not a guitarist ( I am a drummer), but from what I gather about Tool's guitar licks, is that they are not necessarily very difficult, but nobody else really plays or sounds like him.

    Correct?

My point being, it doesn't take incredible difficultly to be incredibly creative.

  • @Bulldog22031. It all depends on the song. Crawl away is not too difficult but other songs off Aenima, 10k days oe Lateralus are pretty challenging. Third eye, wings and the grudge are just a few.

  • great sound

  • um drop d is the right tune xD

  • Right tha fuck on man! go Mavs!

  • good job buddy

  • @tr763 Gracias

  • Beautiful rendition, I fucking love it man. Gratz on being awesome

  • @MalumSin Thank you sir

  • prolly the best song on da tool album...

  • dude what pickups have you pimped that with please? i love their sound

  • Thanks for viewing. Got the EMG 81/85 set in it.

  • @Guitarista78 alright, thanks man, they (and you of course) sound awesome

  • I also added a little bit of slap delay set at a low feedback.

  • I can play tool on bass.

    Can i join your band.

Can you move to Lancashire, ENGLAND

  • @stereoscopicify Um no sorry my friend.

  • G78, Please don't commit to any projects with jason. It's just that I was planning on leaving MY pregnant friend, (it's just not working out), moving to Dallas, finding a bassist like Justin, (no sweat), and a drummer like Danny,(easier still), and hooking up with you! I figured you guys could pour your guts out onstage, and I could stand in front and sing. (I am an excellent vocalist, btw). Been practicing in the shower for 17 yrs now, so I'm sure you'll agree.

  • Good luck finding a drummer, J. Sup, G78? Still waiting for more. Keep it going, mang.

  • dude i would so love to start a tool cover band an have u play guitar while i vocalize yo that would be tight!

  • Nice. move to dallas and we'll get it started.

  • do you need other members?Or do you have some peeps?have to think about moving need the cash and i have other things going on right where i am at but know that you are most likely first or second option...depends on how things come to be...but dont give up on this shit man.stay on High hopes bro...so what would you name the cover band...i think disgustipated, idk sounds cool

  • Just curious, if I'm second, who's first?

  • i have a friend that i live with and she is pregnant so i will be helping her out a lot hopefully that will turn out good in the outcome...so basically she is my first...if something is to happen...a good opportunity comes my way you will be the first to know.i need to get a vehicle so i can actually go for some lessons.just keep in high hopes brother.i know something will come along to help benefit both our needs in this project so lets keep in touch bro.peace out

  • Lol, totally unexpected answer. I thought you were talking about another guitar player.

  • lol nah man i do know some ppl that are trying to start a band and want me to join but i dont know they're sound and i have tool's music in my head all day long man and if someone can create a sound much like their's i would be overwhelmed and you are one of those ppl...i hope to someday meet up wit u and make a record...i need something like this in my life and it needs to happen fast...just tired of waiting on this opportunity to come by me but anyways peace brother keep in touch yo

  • Damn fine job.

  • thank you sir.

  • Haha.

  • a huevo eso era todo MEN

  • Kick ass guitar. Is it an Epiphone LP?

  • Yes sir, Epi LP Classic.

  • Sweet, and are the pickups EMG's?

  • Yep, EMG 81 and 85 like Z. Wylde

  • sweet ! stay jam`n

  • ironically the people who say "learn how to play" probably have not a single fucking clue how..

  • fuckign ace, mate!!

  • what tuning are you using exactly?

  • Good cover of an easy song.

  • good fucking job . wish i could play like that

  • awesome to see you play this- I want to be able to play it, too!

  • Wah!! AWESOME!! xD

  • cool playing

  • Not the song thats really simple I mean the riff. It's memorable yeah.

  • Err, it's in drop D, like 99% of his tracks. Are you stupid or what? Also, the intro was so sloppy. Learn to play.

  • Crawl Away - Standard tuning

    Prison Sex - Drop B

Not all Tool is in drop D, just the majority is.

I do agree that the intro could use a little work though.

  • Fuck you he is trying.

  • Thats a great by adam, one of his best.

  • The song isn't in standard tuning, ye dumb faggol.

  • Actually, it is played in standard. But i play it in drop D faggot.

  • nice job. jus in case you didnt know, the song actually is in standard tuning, but it is actually eassier to play it like you are, thats how play it, in drop D

  • I did know, but I like to hit the open D in some spots.

  • It was good, but why am I not as wet as everybody else?

  • Killer cover of one of the SICKEST tool songs ever. Now show these fools the proper way to play "four degrees".

  • Thanks bro, i'll work on it.

  • great job, keep rockin dude.

  • thats really great, seriously. Good job man

  • best cover i have ever seen. hell of a job.

  • thanks bro.

  • pretty damn good man =)

  • too bad you have a mavericks shirt on....rockwall here
