Talk about range! Ed could rattle the windows on very low notes yet hit the high ones with all the grace and clarity of a Vic Damone. I don't think there was ever a pop music singer who could handle any key (be it for tenor, baritone or bass) with the smoothness and ease of Ed Ames. Just remarkable!
