  • @ashbash986 I dont get it either. I think he was just having fun with the rumors

  • "Get it? 2 Pacs".

  • @NewEraKidd0323 I actually don't get it. I know 2pac but what else does that refer to?

  • fucking peruvians

  • bigga and jigga are sickest rappers

  • "If Faye have twins, she'd probably have two 'Pacs. Geddit? 2Pac's?"

  • As a true hardcore Nas fan, this is the Jay-Z I'll always love, it's probably the closest thing to Illmatic, after this album it was all downhill...

  • @BeenaBee Vol. 1-3, Blueprint, Black Album, Kingdom Come, and American Gangster want a word with you. Jay's always been consistent in quality music, unlike ya homie Nas. All he has is Illmatic and The Lost Tapes, Stillmatic you can thank Jay-Z for too.

  • @sinman2483 Ok ok

  • adjust for all the fame and over-ratedness components, and Big > Jay by a bit

  • "hit cha back split cha fuck fits fights im laying scuffles pillow case to ya face" love the biggie line

  • Ppl sleep on Jay.. he went just as hard if not harder than biggie.

  • Just think none of this was written down...............CLASSIC

  • wish they did a watch the throne

  • This was the 90's "Otis" right here

  • R.I.P Biggie you ledgend

  • this song is like them competing every verse...jay does a dope verse and ur like wtf and then big does an equally dope verse and ur like WHAATT? they ultimate pairing right here

the chemistry between them two is off the charts

  • B.I.G. R.I.P. I miss this lyrical ability that is lacking with today's hip hop and if it does exist the suits aren't pushing it to the public....smdh. The 2 for $5 gets the blue tops...Real Shit!

  • this song needs a vid

  • both of them killed it...just listen

  • Jay-Z's best song, hands down

  • "If Fey' had twins, she'd probably have two Pacs Get it? Tu-pac's?"

Dont get me wrong, love both Biggie and Pac.

  • If BIG didnt die I coulda seen him and Jigga as the most powerful rap duo ever! I mean just listen to how they fade and blend perfectly with eachothers verses. RIP Notorious

  • @Kiburedomasuta fuckiinnn truuuuth! OLD jay-z tho.. then ya gotta remind yourself.. ya think big would have transformed into this auto tuned out world?

  • @facebookSDUBZ If BIG and 'Pac would be alive, Lil Wayne, Drake, any fake-ass autotune-ass rappers wouldn't even be KNOWN today!

  • Fuck Jay-Z

  • only person missing was kanye west

  • Everything in the game, embedded in his brain

  • @dabestps3 "Man DEATHROW RECORDS"??? The Hell?? -_-

  • @JahQuan518 lol

  • @JahQuan518

thank you. that had to be said. people need to grow up

  • @daggakid90 i think most of the people sayin that are people STUCK in the 90s or just young people who never got to say what side they take before.lol

  • @JahQuan518

a bunch of dickriders if you ask me.they need to get out their 90s mind and look around them its 2012 not 1995

  • @daggakid90 i agree fully

  • @daggakid90

Word, true but they reminisce on days of real rap, grimy lyrics, hard beats and hard times. Not the watered down version of rap that is out now. They are calling these new dudes in 2012 Generation Gay...its all gay now, the people, the music, the style...

  • @Nyclassic2006

    90s was the shit

  • FUCK NEW YORK !!!!!!!!!!

    WESTCOAST AT IT !!!

  • I swear rappers from Brooklyn or NYC in general got the best flows; biggie (the greatest) jayz and nas

  • @chrisrox62 GTFO lmao tupac was a ballerina yea ain't he the shit

  • people need to visit rapgenius to understand their flow.

  • @Moyabeast there isnt just one meaning to a song its based on the listener. i mean sure the artist has his meaning for the song but its like colors the blue i see might be a different blue then what you see.

  • 2pac rape these motherfuckers

  • classic

  • Lol if faith had twins shed have 2pacs!!

  • this is so legendary and so underrated

  • jay-z ur a shitcunt u never be king of brooklyn and stfu

  • One of jay z's realest songs

  • I dont really like gay z, but Biggie gets down

  • @Budsmokerhaha true that but this entire album is a classic. its a shame jay z stopped trying and making good shit like this and just went to biting biggie's lines to make up the rest of his career.

  • CRACK EPIDEMIC!

  • biggie killed it with the "tu pacs hahaha"

  • Best jay-z track ever if music was still like this i wouldn't download it illegaly

  • @4Dodi haha well said bro!

  • @4Dodi ha. i never would have heard this song if not for youtube, piratebay and what not, and even though jay was big when i was a kid and i thought he was all right, i never would have been a fan.

  • biggie went in, but 2pac for life

  • @shoebok97 mad head

  • fuck jay z

  • BAD BOY KILLAH..JAY Z DIE 2

    WEST SIDE

  • @Budsmokerhaha mad head

  • It's too bad Big got murdered not long after this cuz him and Jay would've come up with a even tighter colab.....I hated the chorus on this one and I hated the Biggie ad-libs underneath Jay's last verse...it didn't fit Jay's style imo.

  • @Skinhitta yea they were sopposed to start a group with charli baltimore and lil cease

  • Fuck gay-z..pac 4 life..

  • @thelukenda west side

  • @thelukenda mad head

  • yeah i rhyme sick i be what you tryna do

  • I'm mostly a West Coast rap fan but damn this song is the shit. I wish hip hop was still like this

  • The 2 best rappers ever on one track, dont get any better than that! This song is the shit!

  • @chicagosports77

Im sorry but, does 2pac ring a bell??

  • @kobesaa Biggie is the greatest ever. Idgaf wut any1 says

  • @chicagosports77

    lol sure .. :)

  • @kobesaa Its real talk bro

  • Ohio Players "ecstasy"(1973) all over this classic track!!

  • this is jay in his prime when this nigga was hungry

  • The only album that made me fan of Jay-Z, all subsequent work was over-commercialized..

  • think track shows big was better at this point it would have been good to see big jayz go for the newyork crown cus now in 2012 nas didn't bang out the hits that jay did jay kept his career mainstream but i know for a FACT biggie would have been able to keep up with jayz by now big probaly would be worth as much as jay

  • Best Collabs Of All Time ;

  • FUCK GAY-Z

  • You gonna pay!

  • BROOKLYN !¡¡!

  • great fuckin song. J a monster and b.i.g. the greatest

  • fuck jay-z he needa get outta of rap with his illuminati ass and leave this song to the real master B-I-G

  • @Junior3442 .....

This was Jay-Z's first album and your saying he was in the Illuminati since he started his own record company with barely any money? Keep going on with that. And this was when he was apparently, at his finest. Keep spouting that nonsense. Until I actually see legit proof of this Illuminati I won't believe it. Music videos or lyrics isn't going to convince me.

  • Both are the realest Brooklyn MC'S.

  • Uh huh! Uh Huh!...Biggieeeeeee!

  • ahhhhhhhhhh, eargasm off this shit!!!! lol

  • yea this is what i have always thought...but if you listen closely he could be saying "two pops" and this would make sense as well meaning two diff. fathers which is a nice play on words considering faith was BIGs wife and there was a lot of heat on her for having "potentially" cheated with 2pac....."Get it two pops"

  • I LOVE THIS JOINT,BUT YOU CAN'T COMPAIR THESES NIGGAZ TO PAC.

2PAC WAS BETTER,AND PAC IS BIGGER THAN RAP.

  • @nealj3d 2pac is a terrible rapper. The only he has going for him is he put out a good message.

  • @nealj3d lol i prefer pac but he ain't a better rapper technically.. any hip hop head knows that.. pac werent the best lyrically etc

  • @nealj3d Jay-Z was better.

  • :)

  • yea you got a point there pac was a poet...

  • @MegaRandy18 still dont think hell shoot up tho lol

  • Official Brooklyn Banga!!! (klassic)

  • @dartox54 It's explained by what we like to call: "running out of ideas"

  • Jay Z Biggie Smalls Nigga shyt ya drawaz!

  • Ham!!!

  • "Peruvians tried to do me in, I ain't paid them yet

Tryin to push 700's, they ain't made them yet"

  • @TheBandolero9 IM PERUVIAN <3

  • Fuck fistfights and lame scuffles.. pillow case to ya face make the shell muffle #flame

  • @junglekiDD55 IF PAC WAS NEAR THE STUDIO THESE NIGGAZ WUDDA BEEN SHOT UP MAKAVELI WUDDA GOT HIS REVENGE

  • @HAVOCize NEW YORK FINEST!! PAC over rated son

  • @MegaRandy18 Pac originated in the west, obviously he's not NY's finest idiot.

  • @MegaRandy18 ye pacs overated lyrically i agree but big an jay cudnt handle nigga his raw passion destroyed these niggas.. plus hes bigger then rap hes the BEST OVERALL ARTIST these niggas are nice emcees pacs bigger then rap..

  • make that 31 people with shit in their draws

  • Comment removed

  • this jayz best ever

  • sweet umlaut over the "y" bro

  • @dartox54 its not less effort its just emeienm and jay arnt in a struggle enviroment anymore you cant paint a picture of somthign you dont see everyday anymore if jay-z rapped about the hood we would call him fake

  • this song is SOOOOOOOOOOOO UNDERRATED!!!!

  • @ko2be4bryant This song is SOOOOOOOOO OVERRATED!!!111!!

  • @dartox54 Honest to goodness, I think that Pac was getting steadily better up to the point of his death. By mixing his style with the Boot Camp Clik, Busta, and Kane via the One Nation Project, he was spicing up his flow, and it's great to see his universal chemistry with the artists on their collabos. Also, I loved the alliteration on "If I Should Die 2Nite" from "Me Against the World". "Heartz of Men" was so solid a song to me as it had that pure MC stance mixed with West flair.

  • Can not believe I heard this for the first time yesterday.

  • cant nobody touch this nowadays

  • Cristal forever!! Fuckin classic. Back in forth bars by 2 of the Best mc'$

  • This is one of my all time best Jay-z tracks, he goes hard on this one R.I.P. Biggie. See you when i get there. Keep it hot.Blazzin!!!!! Real respect Real.

  • @dartox54 great point cause great MCs mature, while others just lie in their rhymes

  • this is such a classic

  • @dartox54 just like an athlete as he gets worse when he gets older into his career

  • 3:10

  • "Sprinkle coke on the floor make it drug related" , That line is just awesome

  • is this an actual song or did jay z jus add lines biggie in it?

  • @DatHeat2 It's an actual song that was released in 1996 on Reasonable Doubt. It's probably one of my favourite Rap duets ever.

  • @DatHeat2 It's an actual collab with Biggie. Do your research.

  • @24LakerGirl damn nigga i was jus askin lol, but i realized it was when i heard the whole song

  • @DatHeat2 Guess i just got a bit hype there. Sorry.

  • @24LakerGirl lol its gucci, i jus been slackin

  • 2 of greatest ever trading bars= eargasm

  • @dartox54 haha yeps totally agree if ur an artist who cant do multis put the mic down already. I was jus sayin that using mockingbird of Em's decline in lyricism was a bad example cuz of the content. Not sayin powerful songs cant have multis, just sayin most personal songs that come from the artist's heart are better without multis. Traces of the old Eminem come here and there, but it seems like he'll never come back, ehh all artists grow out and become somethin else.

  • " if faith have twins she'll have two pacs" get it? 2...pacs

    is that a diss? hmm

  • @seanishimself

a diss to faith, yes, because she cheated on biggie with 2pac

  • @Eight1Eighty2 ah i see.what excatly does it mean shell have two pacs?besides it meaning she will have 2pacs kids..thanks for clarifying man.

  • @seanishimself

He says "if Faith had twins she'd probably have TWO Pac's". Meaning she would have Two kids (twins) from 2pac.

When he says.."Get it, two pacs". He is saying both Two pacs (twins) and 2pac's as in his kids.

  • @Eight1Eighty2 ah thanks bro

  • @Eight1Eighty2 i dont get him, hes he dissing? this was recorded in 94, but was it before or after their beef?

  • @Prytex11

He's Dissing Faith Evans for cheating on him with 2pac. It's kind of like calling her a slut.

  • @Prytex11

Watch some of the house of blues performances from 2pac, he disses biggie and talks about it on stage. I think it was Americaz most wanted performance where he dissed him about the Faith thing. So search "Americaz most wanted house of blues 2pac"

  • @Eight1Eighty2 im trying to understand the context of this line, were him and faith over by this time? is he actually admitting that pac fucked faith?

  • @FMAN13

It was a turbulent relationship off and on, both cheated a lot supposedly. Biggie saying that line in this song is like him telling everyone Faith fucked 2pac and she is slut, basically just spreading her dirty laundry.

  • @FMAN13

2pac admitted to fucking her. Just search on youtube his house of Blues Americaz most wanted performance, the extended 9 minute version, he rips Biggie on stage. Big and Faith were officially divorced in 1997, I think.

  • @Eight1Eighty2 yh i heard ray j say that one time he walked into the studio and faith was sitting on pacs lap

  • @Eight1Eighty2 how the FUCK does this nigga think of shit like that...

  • @dartox54 huh? did you not read my comment correctly? I used black star as an example of rap that has depth and lyrically inclined, but i pointed out it's not personal struggle type of depth. When it comes to depth like that, songs like "Dear Mama" would be a perfect example, internal rhyme schemes and all that takes away from the song. Mockingbird with a bunch of internal rhyme schemes would of been a horrible idea.

  • Ohio players!

  • Cristal forever, play the crib when it's mink weather

The M.A.F.I.A. keep canons in they Marc Buchanans

Usually cuatro cinco, the shell sink slow, tossin ya

Mad slugs though your Nautica, I'm warnin ya

    RIP B.I.G

  • Jay-Z picked up where Biggie left off

  • firrre

  • @dartox54 actually i dont agree with you there. When it comes to personal struggles you are tryin to convey and the pain and emotion you feel, complex lyricism and only in this circumstance, is not needed and discouraged to me. I'm talkin about personal depth, yes there is depth songs that are super lyrical, my fav is all of black star's album. When it comes to personal depth though conveying true pain and conviction from the heart, complex lyricism can take away from it.
