My husband and I own a housecleaning company in Dallas, and I think you have some great advice - especially about making appointments. We make it mandatory but most people dislike it. They want prices over the phone right at that moment. People don't realize it is not only for our sake we come in person before scheduling a cleaning service (to see how dirty and quote from there), but it is good for them to meet us and let us know what exactly they want.
