Game's barely out, man! I doubt there'll be any solid tiers until this fall or some such. These guys just seem to like picking who they're most comfy with.
How are those characters top tier? The game is relatively balanced, the Japanese have only found 3 tiers A, B and S. There are 2 S tier characters and the rest are pretty evenly split. None of the 3 characters he chose are S tier.

I will agree that SNK always keeps Ryo dumbed down, i don't know wtf for when he is the first original King of Fighter (AOF 2) and the reason KOF started in the first place (Fatal Fury Special)!
His normals and CD attacks here still seem tops. His sweep looks about as good as it did back in '94, and he still keeps his parry moves. He just has no fireball, haha X^D I dunno if there's much use for his Kou'ken in this game.

Reynold did really well if he is new in KOF, when he understand the system better I am sure that he will be very good.
