Holy shit! Is the top really that light or are you hercules?? I'm hopefully getting an 07 rubicon unlimited this week and it has the hardtop and I was wondering how hard it was to remove. This looks super easy.
being 6'2 250Ibs I think that would be a little harder. Do they have something I can hook to the top and use a pully system and hang it from the ceiling?
I found myself with only my 120lb. girlfriend and had to grab my top from a utility barn and install it before a thunderstorm. I climbed underneath the top while she stood in the backseat to position the top. It was back in place in 30 seconds. With power tools, the 10 bolts are back in place in under 5 minutes.
You've got plenty of room, put up a couple sawhorses down so you have something to set it on without bending so far. Saves your back and makes it easier to pick up again.
WOW!! I have done it once before my self removing the hardtop on my 4 door, but you made it look easy. Question is How do you get it back on yourself without a hoist?

Oh yeah, I used the roll cage to help steady the top and push it into place.

Putting it back on is done exactly the same, just in reverse. Getting it back on is even easier.
