I actually think Slovenia was just the better team, this wasn't an upset, and credit goes to Slovenia for playing a hard fought match and earning the victory. The Russians were (and still are) very overrated (If Russia's WC history, or lack thereof, since the breakup of the Soviet Union is any indication), and Slovenia showed that they were the better team and deserved to go on more than the Russians.

And the third goal from USA would count if the referee wouldnt stop the game 2s earlier. And we all know the rules and that when a referee stopes the game it doesnt matter what happens later. The ball was stoped at the very moment when the freekick was taken. Check all the replays if you wish.

I actually think Slovenia was just the better team, this wasn't an upset, and credit goes to Slovenia for playing a hard fought match and earning the victory. The Russians were (and still are) very overrated (If Russia's WC history, or lack thereof, since the breakup of the Soviet Union is any indication), and Slovenia showed that they were the better team and deserved to go on more than the Russians.

So viel Pech wie die Russen dieses Jahr hatten bei Ihren Chancen und mit den Schiedsrichtern, ob bei den Spielen bspw. gegen Deutschland oder Slovenien, kann man soch gar nicht haben!

@Mrfootballislife2010 The referee has nothing to do with Russia being a poor team (they have made only to three out of six WC/EURO in the last decade). Slovenia win was well deserved. And the third goal from USA would count if the referee wouldnt stop the game 2s earlier. And we all know the rules and that when a referee stopes the game it doesnt matter what happens later. The ball was stoped at the very moment when the freekick was taken. Check all the replays if you wish.

And yes, I saw the match of the Germans vs the English and I think you should just go and hide in some hole and stop with spaming about referees on youtube. England scored a legitimate goal and when the score would be 2-2 and England on fire anything could happen (allthough personally I wanted Germany to progress).
