i found an ebony mine by accident i dont know where but two things its beside a town and the blacksmith will ask you to kill some spiders in it and the second thing is its in the region where guards wear red(ish) armour and there is alot of towers in this place i think it might be on the way to Solitude but im not sure my skyrim broke so i cant check

There's also ebony ore at the very top of the throat of the world, with an enchanted pick axe laying next to it and some other ores. It's literally at the peak of the mountain where u can't go any higher

if u do the mehrunes razor quest at the end when u talk to the lord u will half to fight dremora there is 2 of them take the key out of one of them then walk in the door there will be 2 more and wait a while go back do it again there u go INFINITE DEADRA HEARTS AND there is some cool things in there like ebony and helmets and tons of crap.

you can get 150% of the ore you would normally get by doing this: as soon as you swing your pickaxe 3 times and it says "(whatever metal ore vein you are mining) ore added" you move backwards, start mining it again, then after the next three swings, back up again once it says you've got the ore, then you do it a third time and you've gotten 3 ores in stead of 2, also increasing your chance of getting precious or semiprecious stones by 50% this can actually make you a profit from smithing expliot

get it at the throat of the world (where parothorouax or whatever his name is) there is a higher point on the mountain where theres a notched picaxe and some ebony ore but, you may need a horse to get up there because it was kind of hard...anyway, check it out everyone and thumbs up on this comment. ;D

i found another mine , i forget the name of the side-quest but their was this dude that asked me to clear the mine of frostbite spiders (small ones you can one-hit-kill) its a small mine that only has four veins of ebony but its better than waiting a whole month in game-time for the veins to replenish - wow i have never commented a whole paragraph before time to give my fingers some rest, peace .
