I love this scene more than any other love or sex scene I've ever seen in a movie. Like others have said, it's so, so hot, then it makes you want to cry and then you feel privileged to have watched this revelation of love - the love in it is piercingly profound...and when you know how the movie ends, this scene also has a sadness. It's beautiful and it's so sexy without a semblance of porn. The nudity was very much missed on YouTube, though...those puritan administrators.

A big thing about this scene for me is that at first it turned me on, and then it made me cry. When the music kicked in, and she said "I'm in love with you", it just became this intense love scene between two people regardless of gender. And I like to think that's exactly how David Lynch wanted it to be. Bless him xo

the second one. the first storyline is diane's fantasy about how she would have liked things to turn out...notice, the murder was averted by a deus ex machina-esque car crash which left camilla completely dependent upon betty...adam kesher, the "other man", watches his life crumble around him because of this camilla person, and betty is a saintlike aspiring actress. amazing movie, i need to watch it again!
