I'm sorry James but I'm going to have to point out your mistake:

You said that the BFG in the game stood for Big Fucking Gun. However this was only a nickname for the gun made up by fans. The manual states the gun's name as the Big Fragrant Gun and fan's just twisted it and gave it the nick name we all know. In the movie when the rock first sees the BFG (witch is called the Bio Force Gun in movie) he says, "Big fucking gun!" hence giving it a nickname in the same way as use fans did.

I'm a huge DooM fan, of both the blast everything in sight earlier games, the the scary 3 and RoE, but despite that, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER.

The monsters are fucking awesome and aren't a load of shit CGI things that don't even look real, the action is amazing, the guns are awesome, it's funny, it's gory, and the FPS moment is the highlight of the movie.

also, basing it off of 3 was a better idea.

YOU make a 90 minute movie of non stop killing like 1 or 2, and watch it fail.
