They all went on hiatus, Serj is solo, it was Daron and John that formed Scars, Shavo went to Achozen.

In an interview Shavo said that the system will come back stronger, tho Daron said him and John only was putting their effort into Scars... but now Scars isn't preforming. I heard system was coming back in 2010.. but don't quote me

yeah.... but then again... rumors say that, like daron said at the beginning of their hiatus, that "system might be on hiatus for a while, if you're holding your breath for the next breakthrough album, then you're probably going to turn blue and pass out before we'll ever join back together again" but i think that daron was the cause for the hiatus. he clearly thought he was the best singer over serj and such... and plus he said that he didn't like the music genre he was getting into... :(
