This woman is something else. I was listening to this pretty passively, enjoying the music, and then I caught a few lyrics, which caught me off guard, and looked them up for the whole song. And they just blew me away. This woman never fails to blow me away.

Awk, I fell asleep listening to this album. That's not a bad thing! I found it very peaceful to listen to and I tend to have trouble sleeping. Especially love the music to this; particularly the piano and... hell, I love all the instruments involved. Her singing style reminded me of Snow White as well while I was listening. Very happy that a friend lent this to me; definitely gonna buy it soon :)

This is a good album, but for me, it doesn't run as deep as Ys. She wrote that when she was with Bill Callahan (he even singes backup on one track). Of course, the album he made during that period is terrible...tradeoffs.

There's also a jump at 55ish seconds which really bugs me. I suppose all this attention to detail is my own fault due to listening to all the layers in Bush albums. Currently listening to disc 1 and really enjoying it. Happy listening.
