im confused about the band. whats the story behind all the bassists? is everyone original except trujillo?

well the first bassist was Ron Mcgooveney ( i think thats his last name or somthing like that) and he left cuz he didnt care too much about the band, plus he had issues with Dave Mustaine, his spot was taken for the great Cliff Burton, unfortunely he died in 1986 in a bus accident, his replacement was Jason Newsted , he played with a pick not like Cliff, but Jason is a amazing player ( he is my fav ), he quit after 14 years due to personal reason

James didnt let him do his own record ( Echobrain) and in 2003 they hire Rob from Ozzy, he is an amazing bass player, he play with his fingers. My opinion, id rather Jason than Rob
