@EnragedGoat on the pc version of mw2 the average ping was 100-200. Connected to someones connection. On games like cod 4, 5, tf2 and just about every other pc game with multiplayer, there is a server that won't lag when there high numbers pf people on it. That's y we can support 64 people in cod4. If u know how to chose a server on pc, ur ping would not be more than 50 all the time. Hackers are never a real issue in any other game than mw2. Mw2 was a broken game and topped it off with a bad an

@sk8rdude985 The PS3 can support 256 players on one map on MAG with only small lag every so often, and i have had no issues, i live in a rather built up area and have a great connetion yet i always recieve lag when i play games on the pc, and no my pc is not shit it is one of the most powerful out there, i have pc ps3 and xbox but honestly i only find large lag on pc games, and there has been hackers on COD4, BO and Battlefield 2, the only games i own for pc.. :( FML

@Lilmenace68 On PC you use to play for fre after the game is purchased. If you play mmo games, you'll have to pay a monthly fee. And for the xbox account... You could use it in "games for windows live" publications. I,ll recommend you getting steam and xfire if youll start pc gaming, here it is mostly about programs. Most games, youll use different names or at least different accounts. Games such as battlefield will use your EA account.

Cod is mainly for consoles today anyway, it is not as the good old cod games. It is good that dice finally creates a game that will give pc gamers a better graphical and gameplay experience. PC gaming could use better graphs. Than this, but that would have been pain to make. Like crysis(1) not the lame new console favouring game. We do not have to play games anyway. If you would do some research DICE has posted re-assuring fans it wont go in the same direction of COD. Despite the huge influx of talentless 13 year old sprayers posting on the Battlefield forums to change it. Battlefield has it's own unique game style, like SF, Gears of War and Halo (except Reach) does. Battlefield feels more like real war than most games do, so no, they're not trying to copy COD.

There are good and bad elements in both games.

CoD: Good:control setup Bad: noobs who cheat through the game

BF: Good: graphics, use of teamwork Bad: huge maps that make for slow paced gameplay

BF is more tactical while CoD plays through more like an action movie. There are many more facts both for and against each game. Stop arguing that one is better.

Consoles aren't as much holding back the evolution of the market as the market itself is. Developing for the PC is expensive, requires alot of work to get right and with a broad array of setups. Not to mention publishers filling their applications with malware, securom and breaking their own Terms of Agreement I tend to not buy anything on the PC anymore. BF3 will be an grand exception.
