You should use the PC version, there is no loading times, everything is faster in positive way :) There is a patch for use on XP/Win7. You can also use controller with pc version.

They should Create a New 2011 Legacy Of Kain and put a name like The Legacy Of Kain just like they did to Mortal Kombat they just called it Mortal Kombat no Armaggedon and such added just original Name and also they should make something like this in the menu: Story Mode > Easy - Medium - Hard - Extreme > Kain or Raziel - Custom Character it would be Three Different Stories that would be the best vampire game ever created on fucking Xbox 360 Ps3 and PC

How I replay this series every year or two:

Blood Omen 1 == PC version on WinXP SP3 (requires a fan made patch and CPU cycle stealer to slow your system down enough to run); PS1 version as back up plan

Blood Omen 2 == PC Version on WinXP SP3 with last official patch. Must use V-Sync in options. PS2 version too buggy with freezes ...



Soul Reaver 1 = Dreamcast (hardware or NullDC emu)

Soul Reaver 2 = PC version WinXP SP3

Defiance = PC Version WinXP SP3

LoK is one of the better examples of a true vampire story, in my opinion

@livedrainer9 They resurrected Kain with his heart. Also in soul reaver 1, he is looooooooooooooooooooong since dead. Soul reaver 2 - they went to the past, so basically, he's still dead. Defiance - he gets resurrected, only to point us toward tha happenings of BO2.

I remember when I first played Blood Omen and LOK SR, I would prepare before pushing that power button because I wanted to be immersed in the game's atmosphere. It's amazing how now, that I'm 26 years old I still think about a game that I played when I was 12.

I loved the majority of RPGs that came out for SNES and PS1, naming titles would be impossible because I would go over the word limit for a comment. LOK: SR was an amazing game as well. Graphics aren't what make a game good, it's storyline and immersion. Black Ops and Halo Reach have nothing on older games like this.

I agree, I played this game on PS1 when it first came out. Although the graphics may appear to be outdated by today's standards, it was a fun and refreshing game to play.  I thought that the characters looked like Barbie dolls though, especially around the pelvic area. LOL.

The Legacy of Kain series is a legend amongst games. Why?

Two kickass heroes and the most well known Vampires: Kain and Raziel (no Twilight stuff, these two are badass).

Although complicated, the story in the series is really great.

Action, blood, more action and more blood (in Raziels case it's souls).

I want another Legacy of Kain game!!!!!!!!!!!
