My point is, if the state thinks its ok for a 13 year old girl to be married, then the state thinks that a 13 year old girl is mature enough to be a wife. That means, the state considers it a legal marriage and believe that with advisement from parents its fine. Moreover, it seems it was a normal occurrence where they were from. if we give in and allow that, we may have nothing to call moral. There has to come a point when we say enough is enough, and draw a line. Now, we are facing gay marriage. If the gays win that, then it might be marriage to an animal, or between an 8 year old boy and a 70 year old man. When is enough enough? Are we to have any standards at all? Liberals would have the nation become one big melting pot of drugs, porn, and orgies with all manner of evil happening. We have to take a stand.

Just as long as they are of legal age. If they want to marry an animal, than hey; I know of tons of people who have a more emotional connection with their dog or cat, then with another human being.

If he truly loved her, he would not have seduced her and married her before she was emotionally mature enough to know if she was ready for marriage. When we give into perversion as a people, it sets precedents, and those precedents can later be used to give in to even more perversion. It's like a runaway train, it gains momentum. Don't think for one moment that marrying a kid will not lead to more repulsive things

What is repulsive is a grown man marrying a little girl (and YES 13 is a CHILD), a young woman marrying and older man for money (not love), a victim of domestic abuse staying married to her abuser because without him she would be living below poverty with her children. Those things disgust me, not two adults who love each other (of the same sex or not) wanting to get married.
