  • Dear Zomazno1

I just got a mares cyrano 850, manual is too complicated and i couldn't understand anything. please help me to assembly my gun and get it ready for hunt. maybe video or a link or something. great fishing by the way

  • To be honest i would not eaven try to assemble it your self.As much as they are fairly basic, they are also tricky to assemble.1 mistake and it will not work.Take it to a dive shop and get them to do it proprelly. Sorry i can not help you. Z

  • Hey what is the length of the gun you are using?......i want to buy one just like that..Please reply :)

  • 1100

  • Hi, I am thinking of buying a pneumatic speargun, I currently have a small and pretty cheap rubber band speargun. I was wondering how many shots you get per "tank" of air. I mean how many times can you shoot before you have to pump it up again? In an average gun. Thanks :)

    PS. Nice shooting :)

  • @Sharkdread There is no tank and no pumping req. to air guns. The pneumatic spearguns do not release any air when shooting. The gun's have a seel at the end of the barrell ( inside ) to provent air escaping. When you load you squeeze the air into the trigger and when you fire the air pushes the spear out and stops at the end. They usually have 10/15 bar when you buy them new which should be more than enough pressure but you can add more if you need to.DO NOT ADD TO MUCH!!! read manual. Cheers

  • @zomazno1 Ahhh thanks for quick reply, hahaha you can probably tell how little knowledge I have on this subject. Anyway, I have just purchased the Cressi SL 70 w Reducer, seems like a good pneumatic gun. Thanks for the advice, and keep the great vids coming! :)

  • are you gonna eat all these fishes

  • HI there @MOONyMAN24 The clip features a total of 10 fish shot. The footage was taken over a 14 day camping trip with my family and friends. Total of 15 adults and 9 kids from memory. 25 tummies divided by my 10 fish = 2.5 fish. divide that by 14 days = 0.1785714286 of a fish each. That’s why we bring lots and lots of sausages.LOL

    Cheers

  • 4:30 looked like a solid kill shot

  • Rogger that.

    Cheers

  • theres sooo many uhus!

  • that looks like hawaiian waters is it?

  • Ningaloo reef, Perth WA waters

  • greating for video and music ;)

  • Thanks.

    Z

  • can anyone please tell me if u need 2 pumb air in the gun each time u shoot??

if not how many times can you shoot without pumbing air again??

  • @waterpologame1 You don't have to pump it all the time, the speargun doesn't lose any air while shooting. After extended use you can have some air loses, but not too noticable...

  • @Eksalos thanks for answering.

  • Место супер!

  • Great video zomazno1! Yes I can relate toyour comments on spearfishing. I love it too. I live in Hobart, Tasmania and doquite a bit of spearfishing down here. There are some awesome places to spearfish down here, but not as good as WA! I was there in March this year for the first time and loved it!

  • Today I Bought a 6 Foot Hawaiian Sling. It Has 3 diffrent Sizes. 2 foot,4 foot,6 Foot

  • Interesting.Got any footage yet?

  • I'll Video It Right now

  • Damm my camera Broke!

  • That sux. Good 1ns r not cheep.

  • spearfishing nothing like it

  • Love it. If i could i would go every day.

  • i'm deciding between pneumatic and power band speargun, but i dont know which is better to use? any advice? thank you.

  • Phneumatic's r great for reef species. If you wana chase Mack's then go 1500 and band.

  • nice one Z

that omer gun is damn long! what length is it?

  • 1100. Same as Cam's Cyrano and Jamies 115 Ashole.ooop's i meen Asso.

  • lmao ashole i mean asso

  • species? not sure on allot of the coral species

  • Mostly Parrot fish and just a few other bottom species.

  • did i see a seabass in there? i heard they get alot of ciguatera poisoning... but sweet video man, far better than ur first couple where u were as trigger happy as fuck :D nd i was just wandering wat the range is on those things, coz all the fish i spear are timid as and tend to swim away when i get the chance. i was wandering if i should get a band or pneumatic but ive heard from alot of people that pneumatics are shit. great vid mate, keep it up

  • Cheers. Aprox range with the pneumatic guns is about 4/5 m. My 1500 band gun has about 6/7m range .I love the new omer pneumatic gun and think that it is one of the best reef guns ever. It is pin- point accurate, quick and easy to use. However when i am in open water chasing pelagics i will only use my 1500 due to few more meters range.

  • thanks :) the guys that i go spearing with use band guns where one has a 750 and the other has a 1000. and the fish that i target are usually zebrafish and all the smaller shit u can get with a gidgee. but weve been starting to go deeper and for larger fish like western blue groper and mulloway, which a gidgee definately doesnt sum up to tackle them. so, for what i usually do and price/availability, i was wondering which of the 2 kinds i should get

  • Mares or cressi is your best bet. Look around and you will find one for $200/300.If you got cash and want the best then go for omer airbalete. they are around $800.

  • thanks mate. im probs gunna get a job soon and save up for an omer airbalete, probs take like, 10 shifts. but oh well, ive heard from you that theyre good. so that means ill hav to get around 1600 bucks to save up, because im the vocalist in a band and i need to buy a mic, and a good one of them is around 600-800. but yeah, keep up the spearing bro

  • No prob. Best of luck with your plans.

  • Hey Z, Really enjoyed that! One of your best efforts yet I recon, the sound tracked rocked!

  • Cheers man. Yeah i thaught i'd try something a bit more taim and melow with a few shots here and there.

  • The shots were great :}

  • sweeeet z when we going i am ready

  • 08/10/09 4am bro.
