Duxford is not just for airplanes, it also has excellent armor and artillery collection, located at the last hanger, right after the American air museum.
It is a little bit dark though and could use more lights.
Good video Bud, I must say you Brits knew how to make a plane 1940's, 50's, 60's and 70's. Cheap Air travel, that's what killed your aviation industry - who wants class when it costs money, Boeings are cheap!
I've just found this movie. Amazing because I've also uploaded a Duxford movie using Thunderbirds music too (and a Hendon clip). Just search 'Calvertfilm' Duxford or Hendon. Great minds think alike eh? The Barry Gray music is great marching style and really lends itself to the images.
Why thanks! It's those incredible aerodynamic shapes from aircraft from the 60s that really bring the old Anderson series to mind. The TSR2 really wouldn't look out of place on an airfield next to TB1. Somehow they look more futuristic than modern day fighters.
Agreed. I've got a DVD on the TSR2 called Classic British Jets - TSR2 the untold story. Well worth getting. One of my fav aircraft. I'm a fan if Thunderbirds too - me and my kids have made 'Thunderkids' also on YouTube. I should have put a TSR2 flyby in it!
iv gone there

It looks good for the economy and in the eyes of a politician thats the be all and end all.
Did you Americans know most of our helplines etc have benn transported to India?
It saves MONEY.
On paper.
The fact nobody can communicate and its useless and doesnt fucking work GRRRRRRRRRRRRR seems unimportant.
