It is incredible to be a part of a natural / meditative birth. The difference between that and a hospital birth is astonishing. I wish more women had the opportunity to give natural births...it would change their lives. I feel for the women who have to give hospital births because it's all they know. How sad that our society has been scared away from this and encouraged to give birth on their back w/ drugs...what a disconnect :(

She is talking about the spiritual being with a conciousness merging and beginning his or her mortal life as a human being. With pregnancy as it's transitional phase between the soul and the body, and the birth as the gateway to life with both body and soul entertwined as one being, both physical and spiritual. It makes perfect sense to me, a mother of 9. If you have ever been in the room when someone dies, it is like the mirror reflection of birth. Soul and body parting ways.

Furthermore, an unwanted baby isn't rape, rape is forcible intercourse against an unwilling party.
