Psoriasis is a disease of the immune system. I have been dealing w/ psoriasis for 13 years. recently I found some information on changing my diet, which is suppose to help. There are no magic creams or pills. I am attempting this diet. you can follow along on my blog. (it's free). rawgan.blogspot.com
When I went to Morocco on holiday a dear old Moroccan woman told me to use argan oil for my psoriasis. It was the last day of the holiday so I didn't have time to purchase it there. I wasn't sure at first but I eventually plucked up the courage and bought PureArgan Skin by Mama Nature online. Well this has been marvellous and the improvement to my skin is truly outstanding. If she was here I would give her a big hug. I would recommend this to any psoriasis sufferer.
All doctors want to do is give you pills, injections and steriods. They don't work long term. One of the best topical treatments my friends and I have found is Okika Polynesian Butter Cream, from Orchids of Hawaii. There's no synthetic chemicals or junk in it. From the first time, no itching & the redness starts to fade, the flaking diminishes & it's all natural, very healing and theraputic. It cleared up my friends severe Psoriasis that she suffered with all over her body (for 40 years).
@shah00755 hey mate im 15 and ive had psoriasis since half way through primary, i went to great allmond street and saw a doctor who put me on a drug called acitretin, i was a living lizard but now all i have is the odd patch under the armpits and on the scalp. i also use a great ointment called betnovate which is perfect and kills it off in two days or less, i believe you do need a perscription though. hope it helped :D
@shah00755 Do breathing exercises , it would give you great relief. It would improve your overall health. How long have u been suffering?I am also having psoriasis. Deep breathing exercises(yoga, pranayam) helped me a lot.
