I noticed something, on that Ab7#9 chord, you actually didn't hit the #9, which is B natural, if I'm not mistaken. Was that intentional, or was I wrong.

To BrendaLParson: What he did is very simple: It is an E diminshed 7th. So the first chord is E in the bass then in the right hand its (in order) E G Bb Db. The second chord is G in the bass then G Bb Db E in the right. Third chord is Bb in the bass and Bb Db E G in the right so forth and so on.

So all he did was use this cord and invert in the right hand. You do the reverse going when descending on the piano. I hope this helps! :-)

it was the advanced version, I just totally blew off the basic version, and back then my "old school" style was terrible, I've learned how to play more in an "old school" style

@RodThePianoMaster People always tell me my playing sounds jazzy. i was playing the organ at a cogic church and i was playing a contemporary song by isreal and someone said wow that was good now make it cogic. I dont really know how to make a song cogic, but i dont understand why what he played in this video was too jazzy it sounding like the song. I have been playing keys for almost 4 years so i dont know a whole lot, but im just trying to understand.
