  • This is the vaguest advice ever because it's a tautology. A tautology is a statement whose logic is true in all interpretations. "Don't go on too long" is never false; it's always true. Of course you should never go on too long.

    The correct answer to "tell me about yourself" is to highlight key points of your narrative, whatever it is that de-commoditizes you and makes you more uniquely qualified than anyone else. Something useful and interesting, thus adding unique value.
