Abul Fazl is the Kuni'yat of Abbas ibn Ali (A.S.)...half brother of the Master of the Martyrs, Hussain ibn Ali (A.S.)

Abalfazl was the brother of Hossein. On the day of Ashura while Hossein and his companions were drained from thirst, Abbas (Abalfazl) volunteered to get water from the river. As he filled his water sack and was heading back he was struck by the enemy. Imam Hossein fends them off, but Abalfazl dies in the arms of his brother.
