He was the 2nd name on the ticket-George Bush SR's Vice President from 1984-1992. This would have been their 2nd term - they lost to Bill Clinton. Bush Senior was a good President but just as is the case now with his son, Democrats were in control of the Congress and constainly blocked his efforts. He was way more experianced than Obama is now. Goes to show the power of the media. This is some question now that Obama may not even be a US Citizen. In response to this he posted a fake Birth Cert.
