attendants didnt use to have to approve your coupons. if it scanned, and you didnt have to enter a price, and it didnt have to be overided. then you didnt need someone to help you. but they changed that very quickly. Im sure people were taking advantage of that, for example using coupons on trial size items, when the coupon says no trial size. it still scans even though it says that.
