Fished yesterday at my local quarry pit...caught about 30-40 of these in cold conditions...on 3 different baits..corn/maggot/worm...on a pole..small float..2lb line 18 hook.
f1 means first of the breed ,it is a crusian common carp cross no barbs and massive tail fin and they feed in cold weather ,so make amazing sport fish
they are cross bred with common and crucian carp and they will feed even in the coldest conditions making them ideal for match lakes they are generally very shy biting fish so sensitive rigs are best in the warmer weather fishing up in the water and constantly feeding maggots or micro pellets willsee them going insane and big bags of fish are possible
Even the smaller ones go so well when you hook 'em I sometimes think they're named after the F1 racing cars !

Its a new type of carp bread for Commeriol fisheries. Exspect these in most new lakes.
