Started surfing that spot 1965-75 called "The Hut" located in the south part of Point Dume. My crew and I had it to ourselves when south swells brought crowds to "The Bu". Insane to see it like that although localism was heavy even in those days up at "Big Dume". I got chased out of the water there in 1968 by locals and I had a gate key. Southern California just got too fucked up so I moved to Santa Cruz in 75. Now I live in New Zealand. You can have the California surf scene. It sucks now.
