  • One of my best friends started this band. I think he played guitar or sang or something. The sad thing is they sold the song to Black Sabbath but Black Sabbath is good anyways.

  • ALL WOMEN ARE EVIL NO GOOD CANT LIVE WITH THEM CANT LIVE WITHOUT THEM BUT FOR MYSELF ID RATHER BE IN ACTION YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN IF THE GAMES WERENT ON THE BOARD THEY WOULDNT EVEN BE PLAYED!

  • I miss hearing this one. For it's time, it rules!

  • This is on the mark, period.

  • This is a perfect song.

  • I think that that is Bill Traut on trumpet.

  • What is not to like on this very special song? A super classic. Chicago sound we all thank you! Today... let them eat Crow!

  • Evil Woman is the title

  • This is great , I love the horn section over a heavy groove , a little Chicago like which is a good thing

  • Dave Waggoner sounded even better live back then because they had a distorted PA that really made him sound rough. Great singer. Denny Craswell was a solid drummer and a nice guy. When I played drums with The Shadows of Knight ('69-'72), we shared a stage with them three times, usually in Minnesota. They were an excellent band.

  • The singer's voice is reminscent of that of Australia's Doug Parkinson. He had a 1970's hit with "Dear Prudence".

  • Don't ever make him MAD like that ever again!! I didn't do anything in that house whatever that day was. Why let someone have me then?

  • California Evil people. Lib Girls # 28 5:20pm

  • GR8 tune + video! Did not know who did this till recently, though I've hear it for decades. Well done fkngrvnmj. King$.

  • oldie but a goodie

  • yep xd

  • black sabbath is many better

  • wish your english waschre better......=)

  • Where did you get the image at 1:35?

  • always loved this tune but thanks to youtube it's the first i've heard it in years ! thanks !

  • Crow's drummer, Denny Craswell was the drummer of The Castaways of "Liar Liar" Fame!

  • Note to finalvine:

    Agreed!

Just maybe, it *might* take an **amalgamation/alliance/team-up** on the part of an aggrregation/assemblance of **all** of us fans of Classic Rock to create **OUR** own radio station (satellite or analog) serving **OUR** kith.

After all, it originally *was* music fans & musicians that created *lots* of radio stations as well as record labels Back In The Day, yes?

By the way this is an ALL-TIME UBER-MEGA-ULTRA RAVE-FAVE of mine!

    Thanx fer it, m8's........

  • Comments are made about this song being a great song and rather forgotten. I agree and this was excellent. My question to all and any of you, why doesn't Sirius /XM have a satelite station made up of songs that fall into this category?

Some one hit wonders and some that were B sides or just get lost in the vault? There are so many of them. You can't tell me that there are not enough of us to make a channel like this work. That is all I have to say on this I guess.

  • I agree. There are so many good songs that are overlooked in the persuit of financial wealth. Corporate-owned radio, including Sirius/XM, is a primary example.

  • Suggest it on Deep Tracks. That channel would play it by request if they haven't played it already

  • You do not need to over-analyze this band. This was a kick ass, rocking band with a great show. One hit wonder, or not, Crow was, and remains, a great American band.

  • CROW DOES IT THE BEST

  • i never knew sabbath didnt write this

  • Amazing that even Ozzy had to do a cover or two.....

  • Took a while to find this..Crow..there was one by Kelley

sounded pretty good too, almost sounds like Burton Cummings on this ? heard this on a Chicago oldies

    station yesterday..Thanks poster !

  • Kelly

  • The ultimate song that describes the true nature of but the finest of women: evil, seductive, cunning and absolutely wicked - I L OVE IT!

  • apeman - I know whereof you speak!

Thanks for your most applicable critique: it's culturally deep and quite substantial, unlike 99.9% of the DUMB motherfucker's postings her re: this kickass fucking tune...

    "I L OVE IT, TOO!!!

  • This song deserves to be a classic rock staple, there were alot of great rock songs from this era that you barely or never hear on the radio anymore that is deserving of more recognition

  • I remember this from Orlando right before going into the Army. Played on WLOF channel 95. Anybody remember that station?

  • Very underated group.

  • I also forgot about this song. we uused to dance around the bonfire to this, thx

  • Love this song, aint heard it in over 30 + years. Thanx for having it in your playlist. Love your channel.
