One of my best friends started this band. I think he played guitar or sang or something. The sad thing is they sold the song to Black Sabbath but Black Sabbath is good anyways.
ALL WOMEN ARE EVIL NO GOOD CANT LIVE WITH THEM CANT LIVE WITHOUT THEM BUT FOR MYSELF ID RATHER BE IN ACTION YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN IF THE GAMES WERENT ON THE BOARD THEY WOULDNT EVEN BE PLAYED!
Dave Waggoner sounded even better live back then because they had a distorted PA that really made him sound rough. Great singer. Denny Craswell was a solid drummer and a nice guy. When I played drums with The Shadows of Knight ('69-'72), we shared a stage with them three times, usually in Minnesota. They were an excellent band.
Just maybe, it *might* take an **amalgamation/alliance/team-up** on the part of an aggrregation/assemblance of **all** of us fans of Classic Rock to create **OUR** own radio station (satellite or analog) serving **OUR** kith.
After all, it originally *was* music fans & musicians that created *lots* of radio stations as well as record labels Back In The Day, yes?
By the way this is an ALL-TIME UBER-MEGA-ULTRA RAVE-FAVE of mine!
Comments are made about this song being a great song and rather forgotten. I agree and this was excellent. My question to all and any of you, why doesn't Sirius /XM have a satelite station made up of songs that fall into this category?
Some one hit wonders and some that were B sides or just get lost in the vault? There are so many of them. You can't tell me that there are not enough of us to make a channel like this work. That is all I have to say on this I guess.
I agree. There are so many good songs that are overlooked in the persuit of financial wealth. Corporate-owned radio, including Sirius/XM, is a primary example.
You do not need to over-analyze this band. This was a kick ass, rocking band with a great show. One hit wonder, or not, Crow was, and remains, a great American band.
Thanks for your most applicable critique: it's culturally deep and quite substantial, unlike 99.9% of the DUMB motherfucker's postings her re: this kickass fucking tune...
This song deserves to be a classic rock staple, there were alot of great rock songs from this era that you barely or never hear on the radio anymore that is deserving of more recognition

The singer's voice is reminscent of that of Australia's Doug Parkinson. He had a 1970's hit with "Dear Prudence".

Don't ever make him MAD like that ever again!! I didn't do anything in that house whatever that day was. Why let someone have me then?

Suggest it on Deep Tracks. That channel would play it by request if they haven't played it already
