@sciencedude10 Check the link in the under bar, don't know if you saw this yet, I don't think their is more info than this i can give you. Good luck and feel free to ask if there are any other tricks you have questions about i would be happy to answer.
How much practice does this take to master? I've put 4-5 hours into it, and I can now get it ALMOST still, but not quite, and only with one hand. Are there any tricks to ironing out the last little bumps and jumps the ball makes?
@Terrik27 there are no tricks other than just practice and then a whole lot more.
You will find that it takes a lot longer than 4 or 5 hours, the closer you you get to it, the more you will notice what your doing wrong, i don't know that i have ever done it really perfect. also once you do get it perfect you have to keep practicing it because if you don't you wont be able to do it in a week and you will have to relearn.
@gratefuljuggler Thanks man! More practice, and it's somewhat smoother now. Another 30 hours and I should have it with my right hand... :)
It means a lot to people like me trying to learn this stuff that some people take the time to tape, edit and post what they've learned to pass it on. Thanks again, and let me know if you ever to a show in Minnesota. I'll buy a ticket front and center.
I am just happy to share what I do and love so more people can find the same joy it has given me. Really if you every and any question feel free to ask, even if it means i need to make a new video i would be more than happy!
hey, this is a great video, i am having some issues with the rotation of the ball and then my hand movement, are thier some good tricks to learn before attempting this one?
@hawthornfc30 Yes maybe try just some finger rolls like in an over hand cross up. If you search for that move you will know what I mean. Remember this is a hard move and it really does take some time
i simply cant do it.....im stressing out from this so much its not even funny...im waking up with pimples and i can feel im blood pressure shoot up im getting pissed off, i need help
@TheElement04 don't stress, this trick takes a long time to learn and is very difficult. maybe take a break from it for a while and then come back in few days and start from square one, don't rush it, let it take its course
@piplup10203854 no, but you at least want something that is round and stays round at all times, makes it much easier, the smoother and more flawless the better it all works out
i have sil-x juggling balls, i was just wondering if i could learn to contact juggle with them, even though they arent meant for it, rather than buying a contact juggling ball?
Well sil-x were made for contact i do believe, contact jugglers tend to take out just a small but of the silicone to make them more suited for contact. so to answer your question yes you can, but it will make certain tricks more difficult. If i were you i would start to learn with them, and if you want to pursue it more buy new balls then.
Good job very well explained and demonstrated just a tip for lighting a couple of cheep plant lights the ones with the wire clamps on them work fine and are easy to adjust ( I only comment on this becous you mention the lighting to me it looked fine I had no trouble seeing what you were doing )
This is an advanced trick and requires much practice to master. A good estimate is about two weeks. But once you learn it.......AWESOME!

do you need a special ball or something for contact juggling? i just discovered it today and am very interested in it.
LaxFreak225 2 years ago
Stage balls or soft rubber CJ (contact juggling) balls. Try 200-300 grams.
Grateful has acrylic balls which are much heavier but are amazing looking when performing
