Man,wow. Took mine (dead stock ;bought new in 1996) down to 'Dega. Disconnected the 108 cutoff and with the LT1 ran 167 and change. If you still have the car DO NOT SELL IT! It will be the truly classic big body muscle car of the future. Children and women will be amazed and attracted by its SIZE and POWER. BTW there are ONLY an estimated 6,500 left out of a '96 year prod run of 12,596
you really can do anything with a cadillac. They have got to be some of the best cars if the the best car ever made. Everyone I have ever owned has never let me down in any category except fuel economy with my older model ones but I dont really care about that.
To be honest, there IS a difference. ANYBODY can mod and race a Mustang or Camaro. The fun comes when you show up in something like this and then skunk the competition. The reaction at the dragstrip is PRICELESS when this boat schools a ricer!
@piper4seeformerly Read up on the history of Cadillac. You'll find that people have been racing Cadillacs competitively for a very long time. Since the early days of the make.
WTF did he do to it? Mod it like you would an Impala SS? Thats the way to do it! Impala SS rims, new springs, and some bolt ons... Hell Yea! Impala SS hiding in plain sight. You prolly wouldn't like what I did to my Roadmaster. Headers, 4.10's, 3200 stall converter, police car rims... oh yea...
I've had 2 of them, both of which had the fleet option. Giving them the Towing package suspension... which is the same suspension as the caprice Police cars. Actually the springs, are one load rating higher. Same sway bars as the police car, and Impala. With a stiff set of shocks on it, the car actually handles quite nice. I will agree that the standard suspension is very floaty, and loves to sway!
This guy is all over the internet with his Cadillac. He's got a lot of work and money invested into this car. Engine and suspension. Its actually a pretty sick Caddy.
Cause it's basically an Impala SS with different sheet metal. Same Engine, trans, and rear end. I got mine to go 14.9 in the 1/4 mile, with only a new exhaust, valve springs, and intake. :)
Damn that looks like my Brother W.S@d13r. That car doesnt look that way anymore lol.

those engines got a shit load of power... stick one of them in a camaro and the camaro will move pretty damn good
Dizzles 2 years ago
that is in no way a lie. they build these things with power the only reason they don't go very fast is because they are so heavy
dillonaire 2 years ago
haha so true... man imagine that engine in a freakin s10... i got money saying it'll burn rubber through 4th gear haha
Dizzles 2 years ago

@spyderbill8 Lol, it looks more like Bill Clinton jogging, but it's a good looking car and I bet it can walk the walk, too.

If this is the same Cadillac I remember a few years ago. It had over 200k and still going strong.
RocketFast321 3 years ago
I think it had almost 300k last I knew...

I believe that. A friend of mine back in the day had a stock Impala ss that ran 15 flat with half tank and a K&N filter.
