I really like your videos and would love to see a new one. I'm sure the babies have grown a lot since your last video. You seem to be a dedicated mama.
Hi Tori, I loved your three-period lesson tutorial! Though I don't usually chuck the material across the classroom (some things work better at home), I also teach the 3-period lesson. I'm a Montessori teacher trainer. I'm also a retired homeschooling mom of three Montessori young adults. I love being in the classroom with my "kids," even though I miss being at home with my kids. The Montessori homeschooling experience is not to be missed!
Your son is ADORABLE... i just saw your introduction of Montessori at home (both parts) and love the fact that i found your videos on here. I had few of the Montessori books, but haven't read all the way or applied the concepts fully. I like how it's explained and I can see the application in a real home. Thank you.. and keep up the good work!
I really enjoy your videos. Would love to see some more. I will be introducing montessori methods at home very soon with my 16 month old. When do you think is a good time to start introducing some of the montessori theories?
@mbeekhof anytime. remember to take it one thing at a time and follow your child's lead. the easiest way to get frustrated is forcing a child into an activity they are not interested in. INVITE your child and let them show you what they are ready to learn. Invite them again and again and again, help the seeking child find something to do.
Thank you! Very instructive! I'm triying to put it in action with my one year old daughter... Not always easy to avoid the "what is this" question... I'm working on it!
Great example and explanation of the Three Period Lesson! I have always recommended your other Montessori home videos to other parents! They are gems! (Cute kids, too!)
Great! Thanks for another fantastic video. When I was first researching the montessori method I came across your vids (there aren't many out there) and I bought the book you recommended and I have read it twice. I have implemented Montessori in our own household, not much, just little by litttle. Thank you.

please avoid throwing things while presenting the lesson..
the child would easily imitate the action...and don't be surprise when they throw things later!!
