  • fucking cuba, what a piece of shit country

  • What's the place called? I love all the Athletic Club decorations and the Ikurriñas!

  • Wow! Thank you for this slice-of-life from Havana. LOVE that old bartender, his little finishing flourish. Hope you sent him the video as promised!

  • Did he forget the lime juice?

  • @bcoverss come on bro hi did on 1:16 check.... or open you little eyes

  • he is cracking the ice like a japanese bartender !!

  • @bronx7542

My gawd you are a not play with a full deck of cards are you.. Not All Cubans are in to Witch Craft *Santeria".

Depressed.. Geez wonder why.. Boycotts, trade doctors for oil. Being Ran by a dictator thats about to die. Doctors that make 20bucks a month. Bar tenders and pool boys.. making 20 a day.. What is there to be happy about.? You really should Learn things before you open your mouth.

  • Poor Cubans they look depressed. It like they don't want to be there.

  • It's the whole atmosphere there. The music in the background, the waiter that makes the mojito with joy and it's the lifestyle. It's Cuba. :D

  • this is an amazing video. like a real life movie. bravo

  • MUSIC? ARTIST? TITLE? PLEASE!

  • @noname4507 Aragon the Cuban band that been there since 1930s there are a true Legend.

  • crazy how they have to handle the ice and break it like that... i have to wear gloves and a ice scooper lol i work in Vegas as a bartender... it takes time to make a good mojito... ours start at $24 so it better be! lol

  • You sure wouldnt get drunk at that bar!!

  • you know it just takes time to make a good mojito

most waiters don´t do it good because they do not take their time

  • @dschingy

I agree i was at one bar asked for one.. it was in front of me in like 2mins.. the bar keep fucking TORE the mint leafs apart was nasty.. i told her i wasn't paying for a piss poor excuse for a Mojito.

  • @mr69wrong That Mint plan,t that's "Witch Craft" plant the Cubans are very much into Witch Craft - that bring in a a curse. That's the reason why Cuba has so many economical problems.

  • @mr69wrong

you need to watch how eben freeman makes his mojito .. look him up

  • yeah great !! original mixed mojito!

    thumbs up !

  • did you know he's serving a drug dealer in red shirt?

  • i was just in Havana for a week, and of course, had several mojito's - I got them everywhere from paladars (private home-restaurunts) to the most expensive at Hotel Nacional - and everywhere seemed to make them the same: without limes.

Does anyone know why this is? Any recipe on the internet for a "classic cuban mojito" clearly says limes, yet in Havana, they made it with lemons. They wern't bad, although I much prefered the drink made with lime

does anyone know why this is?

  • I know it sounds weird but I like when I order an $8 drink and the bartender takes their time with my drink instead of rushing it and screwing it up. Patience is a virtue my friends.

  • love to see what health inspectors think of that bars hygiene standards in regard to handling

  • @Alxb86 who cares? its cuba

  • very relaxing

  • The bartender sounds like a New Yorker.....I wonder where he has lived.....

  • OMG...by far the best looking mojito ever!!! That look so yummy!!! I don't care if he took 30 minutes to make it I would still wait if the taste would be phenomenal!! I would love to drink a mojito like that. Made my mouth water for darn sure! I give him props 8)

  • good, now give it to Fidel C.he has a hard time dyeing and make one for Raul just in case

  • this is the real mojito!! old school style! best taste ever

  • It's Cuba!! Why would he rush when he is making no tip? LOL

  • He's slow because he's either on Island time, a product of communist work ethic, or he's making a perfect drink. Give him some credit for having to crush the ice by hand! The drinks look delicious! Yum!

  • this waiter is sooo amazing!! so cuban:D

  • Awesome. I'm so happy you made this video.

  • Viva Cuba!

  • aooo sparateeee..sarai pure cubano...ma de mojito nun ce capisci un cazzo...te sei fregato mezz'ora pe fa 2 mojito...te pare che i clienti stanno aspetta' a te....fatte pure na sigaretta e famo notte..

  • como se titula la cancion por favor?

  • Original Mojito from Cuba required only 1 teaspoon of sugar =)

  • YES this is really RAUL i really met him, no feak Video, he is cool! but to be honest theMojito tasted a little "plastic Botttled" otherwise a cool Guy!

  • this is the REAL MOJITO. hello from greece

  • haha is that how liquor is in cuba? coming in a plastic bottle of soda?

  • I wanna go Cuba!

  • I recently came across some interesting background information. The bartender's name is Raul. He has worked at that establishment for forty-three years. This video shows him filling his tenth order. They say he's the reason that, year after year, people keep coming back -- to see if their drinks are ready yet.

  • i want to go to cuba darn it lol

  • @Rachael5922 my first thought lol

  • WHAT SONG IS PLAYING IN THE BACK GROUND

    cuba-mojito

    puerto rico-pina colada

  • Bea!!!!! Go dito mi!!!!

  • no seeee booooniiiiii!!Me ga ditto a Ambra!!

  • NO B. del medio...

  • U r right! Of course, it is not Bodeguita del Medio; they are not serving in the window and do not have all those football flags inside.

  • xD sin comentarios

  • your wrong sucka and i dont care this was more than 4 months ago

  • se demora caleta si...

  • bodeguita del medio?

  • Why the hell are some complaining about the time it takes him? it's not like the place is bouncin on a saturday night or anything, geez

  • @KillSwitch2 Totally agree!

  • @KillSwitch2

imagine it was bouncin, he would die,

ohhh lovely he wipes his snots all over his hand,

  • HEMINGWAY is spelled

    HEMINGWAY

    1 FREAKING M.

    NOT 2.

  • A regular mojito is like an alcoholic sprite.

  • I am going to Havana in 5 weeks. What is the best club to go there? Anybody?

  • whats the name of the bar????

  • Just go to Old Havana and you will find your way. There's the Floridita, where Hemmingway used to go, sort of a tourist place with a life size statue of him, sitting at the bar. But, definitely go to the Hotel Nationale. The bar is fabulous and where all the hollywood movies stars used to drink. Thier mojitos are the total best in Havana. Get one and then go out side in the big grand court yard and enjoy yourself!

  • Good advice! I've got got the best mojito in the Museum Of Rum. The band that plays there is awesome, as well!

  • there is an alcoholic.

  • no seriously how about lime???

    was this drink any good?

  • Rum in a plastic bottle?

  • imagine if he would have dropped those glasses after taking a life-time to make them...

  • YOU SUCK ASS BITCH .... YOU SUCK MY ASS

  • Did you sent him a picture?

  • now thats a true cuban mojito

  • what are u fucken stupid he didnt put any lime in it

  • poor barman, he's in cuba, such unfortunate place.

  • Is that aguardiente the local has at the start of the video?

  • Wow... it takes me less time to make a mojito at home AND I use lime.

  • what about a taste? I bet I can make 50 mojitos at that time but personally wouldn´t like to drink any of those

  • You and I both know it... that guy can speed it up a little bit. I make my own at home and I'm pretty sure I can make these things faster.

  • Visit my channel (ExtraMojito)

    Music Like No Other

  • respect the classics man

  • faes payin!!

  • I like it. Everything done from scratch .. even the ice!

  • wheres the lime? It taste a lot better if you muddle the lime with the mint leaves to extract the oils.

  • the lime is in the bottle they don't have time for squish the lime so they put the lime juice in a bottle is more faster to serf.

  • He didn't even use fresh lime juice or sugar cane juice. Can this method be authentic? I mean, I would expect those ingredients elsewhere but this is supposed to be Cuba!

  • Remember this guy made two mojitos and he probably did it slow so those people that dont know how its done learn properly. Ive been in Havana and they make it in like 1 min and also Cubans love taking their time because they get to talk to the costumers and the costumers enjoy it aloot.

  • haha, com'one! I'm a barman and i can tell you that mojito is one of the simpliest but best drinks ever!!

  • the background music is killing me softly

  • lot of soda???

  • <3 it. Hoping to

    have a Mojito in

    La Havana soon.

  • hey the liqur is in a cola plastic bottle!

  • No...Ten Cane rum is the best! It's expensive, but in a Mojito, it's worth it.

  • best vid on YouTube?...

btw, did u send him a copy of this vid?

  • wow, im a bartender in sf, and if I took that long 2 make a simple mojito, my ass would have been fired!

  • You mean making a drink the proper way?

  • theres a difference between making a drink correctly, and taking your sweet ass time. working in a club, i dont have the luxury of patient customers willing to wait 5 min for a drink with 2 primary ingredients. the same drink can be made in a quarter of the time with the end results exactly the same.

  • There's also a difference in mentality. There, it seems relaxed, laid back. Here it's more omggiveittomenowimpatience over mellow relaxation.

  • I Totally agree! you can make a great mojito in half the time. I should know I work as a bartender too. Btw, try replacing the white rum with cap morgan spiced rum -DELISH!

  • Well I don't know about SF - but I am currently in Berlin/GER. You might call me a resident at club "Felix" (in fact bartenders there call me living inventory). However, I usually order my personal Drink (Old Fashioned on Tanqueray Ten) which takes about 10 mins to create. Bartenders always respect my drink and take their time to stir up my Drink of Gods - and I tip them well for their efforts.

  • Awesome! I love it... No bullshit muddling limes in there. just juice, sugar mint rum and soda. Nice to see the authentic way

  • good labour day 1.5 fidel

  • coño si esq son de bilbao jajaj!!!

  • finnish mojito:

    greentea and koskenkorva no ice

  • captain morgan or bicardy people?

  • Captain Morgan Spiced Gold.... es Primo!!

  • havana especial

  • classic!

Cruzan, Myer's, Bally, Cacique, El dorado, Matusalem, Caroni... veri rum, prova qst è un consiglio spassionato e... poi mi dirai! Auguri!

  • Allora ???

  • Love real Cuban mojito and Cubalibre as well!

  • Those bacardi commercials may look smooth. But this is Cuba. Mojito land. Real rum. Real people.

  • a real bartender never touch ice with his own hands.... he might went to the toilet , and then serve that thing with out washing his hands..... que asquito! puajj

  • I have a simple comment for all of you. Before the revolution, the U.S started investing for Las Vegas in Havana, Cuba, and at this time, this little island's monetary value was 25% greater than the dollar. Fidel took over and we know what happened. But I wander, being one of the poorest countries of the world why do Cubans command greater respect than Americans?

That's a real Mojito, with sugar and rum from Cuba!!!!

  • very fast and very seympatic bar tender:))))))))))

  • this is great,,hes funny.

  • looks like a fine beverage, 15 years of making them will probably be required to get the right flavour.

  • Wow, them prisons be real good over there.

  • wow his nickname must be flash!!!!!

  • adam çok yavaş a.q

  • He says"This are the best mojitos you are gonna try..."

He takes his time, but drinking a mojito in Cuba..is another world

  • its unfair dissing you unless its on the educational tip, so ill recommend you try havana club cuban barrel proof, havana club anejo 15 or any age eldorado rum from guyana.

  • ChevyLS1Power. you must be a gringo pingero drinking all these fake cuban rum types like kakardi. bacardi claim to be cuban and thats fake. its not made in cuba anymore. you should learn that a cuban rum isnt cuban unless its made by cubans in cuba, just like all these fake cuban cigars they are selling in the states. youre almost worse than the chinese when it comes to fakes. hehehe.

  • Bacardi may not be the smoothest rum but they are the fathers of modern refined rum. Before Bacardi rum was a robust pirate shit. Even before communism Bacardi had its plant in Puerto Rico to save import taxes for importing to USA. What is crucial in difference is the formula and method. The same with Cigars, most Dominican cigar labels are owned by Cubans who brought their Cuban seeds and methods over. It might not be identical to a Cuban (do to soil) but its still among the best.

  • its true that cuban rum makers are the fathers of the smooth rum we know today and rum isnt cuban unless its made in cuba so in europe nobody sees the point in drinking something that isnt the real thing. they even have fake havana club in the states. fake cohibas (as well as other) from dominicana are okay but they are only so big because of the u.s. blockade against cuba.

  • Bro, rum does not have to be bottled in Cuba to be the real thing. Bacardi took its Cuban formula out to P.Rico (same thing) and sells like crazy in Europe as well. Puerto Rico also makes good rum; among them, Bacardi and Captain Morgan (the most sold in the world). Jamaica, Barbados, etc. They also make good rums.

  • cuban formula doesnt make the rum cuban. "fundada en cuba" on puerto rican made rum bottles is just a gimmick for fakers like bacardi and such. as an example, champagne is only made in a certain area in france no matter what any "french champagne formula" is used by fakers all over the world. and its good you know that they make good rum in the jamaica, barbados, trinidad&tobago, guyana and all over the carribean because that is true as fuck.

  • they sell more meat at macdonalds in europe than they sell argentinan tenderloin. if you think that makes the big mac better, go ahead. hahaha. bon appetit. its the same thing with rum... and captain morgan is no real rum, its simply too spiced and bacardi is a copy. im sorry that the u.s. dont believe in free marketing and you have to become criminals to drink the real cuban rum, havana club. its a pity.

  • I agree, Rum isn't Cuban unless its made in Cuba. I also think its shitty that I cant get real Cuban Rum because the Criminals in the U.S. Government wont allow free trade with Cuba. If our Government really wanted to help the people of Cuba they would permit free trade. Trade equals opportunity, an Opportunity to earn money and money changes everything.

  • exactly. but the u.s. regime dont want to help cuba they just want chaos so they can in the middle of the turmoil put up some classical puppet regime there. my friend in the states buys real cuban smuggled havana club from backroom storages at a very high price. good rum finds its way no matter what.

  • Bacardi an Captain Morgan are made with tons of chemicals just like Drano...have you ever had a real Havana 7 años straight?...it's simply the best Rum.

  • I hope two things for your sake. One, you had you "Twinrix" Hepatitus A & B vaccination before you went to Cuba! Two that you paid in moneda nacional. Next time try Bar Monserrate, or Cafe Paris and pay in CUC for a decent mojito! You'll save the assault on your liver from hep and aguardiente!!!!!!!!

  • funny how he poors the rum...pay attention to how he artistically lifts up the bottle...After taking such a long time, he still thinks he is a good bartender..

however I think he is a good guy... I love Cuba and its people..

  • If only I could go to Cuba and drink a Mojito without being labled a communist. Unfortunatly America still refuses to allow tourism to Cuba because they're communist and yet we have gotten ourselves in billions of dollars of debt with China who tries to poison us every chance they get. Go figure.

  • Holy crap! it better have been worth the wait. Did he really have to pull off each mint leaf one by one? The bartenders in Jibacoa made me 3 mojito's in the time it took this guy!

  • that´s some real cuban rum, not that fake bacardi shit they sell in the states... kakardi.

  • Whats "fake" about 151 Bacardi?

    Moron lol

  • MoHito zuhaa

  • when is that freaking embargo going to be lifted

i'm about ready to have some seriously good cigars & rum

  • Just be smart, and go

  • what a fucking amateur..

  • 5-minute mojito... still faster than me though. Music is killer. Guys getting drinks from the street through the bars... also killer. Thanks

Que has tomado?

  • All I know is whomever orderded those drinks was getting ripped off. That 1/2 oz splash of rum at the end was week. 6 of those pays the tenders month salary and he gets to take the last third of the bottle home.

  • A little learning is a dangerous thing. Of course its Cuba, you morons, towards the end of the video you can see "Bar Bilbao". Bilbao is a vasque city!!

Probably the owners' got spanish ancestors. As 99,9% of cubans do!!

  • i think it wasnt recorded in Cuba... there is Bask flag at the left side of the video at 1min43sec.:)) but the guys preparing should be Cuban...

  • i'm cuban dont go to cuba its disgusting over there

  • you are the disgusting one...how you can talk about your country like that, our wine is bitter but is our wine stupid....

  • that bar looked pimp, everything was fresh to make it, he pulled out like an entire mint tree and a huge block of ice out of his shelfs, cuba looks great

  • the cubans probably suport spanish soccer teams..i guess

  • no lie they take their frigging time to do everything in cuba, well, until they wanna hustle you for some money!! i spent a whole lot of time in cuba, including this year, and despite the fact that their service is slow, i rather cuba than my own country, bahamas! going cuba AGAIN in 4 days!

  • I wanna go to Cuba

  • No Blixagr It's Really In China You Dip Shit LMAO Ofcourse It's Cuba

  • Well I saw Athletic Bilbao , and Biskay flags , is that video really from Cuba?

  • It is Cuba, it just happened to be flags in the bar. If you understand the spanish tey ae talkign you will realize they are cubans, the way they dress too. I seems to b near The Cathedral, in the Old City.

  • It hurts watching this. I woulda tossed him a couple of pesos and walked next door to Martha's. I heard she fixes a fast drink ... and could suck a tennis ball through a garden hose ;). Viva Cuba

  • theres no internet connection in cuba except for tourists and very exceptional situations. unlike ignorant americans that dont know whats going on in another country(which is actually a country they should know a bit as they have a "thing"), cuban people dont have you tube to watch stuff. so sorry you cant send the video to him.
