some power stations are worse than others. Lessening pollutants to the environment is a multifaceted endeavor. Continuing to drive gas guzzlers because coal powered stations exist is a poor excuse for change. you can generate your own power through solar panels, wind turbines, biogas powered generators, biomass gasification, etc. Stop relying on electricity from utility companies if they are harmful. Generate your own power.
The negativity i see towards the Reva and other small electric cars in youtube comments is amazing. You would think that noone has heard of bicycles, public transportation or WALKING as alternate modes of everyday travel. Low speed electric cars have the utility of quick small scale travel (like the aforementioned) without the pollutants or spending lots of money on gas. And no not all electricity comes from coal factories. You don't need a hummer to get some groceries.
There are some people who have been too pampered by the big three auto companies from Detroit, who forget that the basic purpose of transportation is to take people from one place to another. If you replace all those guzzlers with the Revas, you would get rid of all the problems in a zilch.
@yawakoben You know, a vulcano eruption. Produces more then the entire human race does by driving cars right? Thus riding a Hummer doesn't realy make much difference.
