@surferman735 , Keep in mind that this flight was FULL. 767 often operate certain peak time of day flights for American on ferry flights. The 767 is also used on these ferries for positioning for longer haul flights from the arrival airport. Instead of just fly the plane down there to pick up more passengers, why not make extra revenue by carrying PAX. There is a method to the scheduling madness of most airlines.

Seat 12 J on the Boeing 767-300. It was AA1374 ORD-MIA and we left from Gate K11

@adams8pjoy American Connection now uses gate K1 at Chicago ORD the regular mainline American Airlines planes such as the Fokker-100's and the MD-80's would always use gate K1 back in the days but they don't anymore
