@Mr10vvvvvvvvvv Yes, I did use the helmet, but I took out all the electronics and all the plastic parts are left over. Now I only use it for the Dalek gun as I've now got a proper voice modulator.
ive took apart my helmet and it now looks like wires, wire board and lights wat do i do now and i carnt accses prodject dalek becouse it shuts my computer down
Could you sed me some info on how you rewired the voice changer. I'm thinking of doing this for my dalek. Also putting a microphone on it so i can also talk like a dalek
I took the helmet apart, cut off the eyestalk connection as it's not needed, then took off the little metal switch board connected to the mainboard.
I then bought three push switches soldered them in with some cable, then wired them to the board where the push switches were wired into. Thus extending the buttons.
Next up I wired an old PC audio 3.5mm connector across the little speaker connection creating an output for an amplifier.
in RED.....

The lights rarely followed the voices in the original series, anyway, so that just maked it more authentic.

how hard was it
Mr10vvvvvvvvvv 1 year ago
@Mr10vvvvvvvvvv To build the Dalek? It's hard work. Lots of hours, blood (if you're not careful with the tools), sweat, but no tears.
