  • wats the liquid ?

  • i wish that drinks were like that

  • glow stick were invented at the base I live at.

  • since when is red blue and GREEN the primary colors? no yellow in science? what!?

  • IM ON HERE FOR SCHOOL o.o'

  • It took me forever to load this vid!!

  • OMG WHA jk Whos on here 4 school like it if you are

  • hi

  • stupid

  • who uses glow sticks on fourth of july?

  • Just to clarify, the primary colors of light are red, green, and blue. Yellow is only a primary color in art class.

  • Kids think they are battery powered. Who the hell said that?!?! XD

  • I wish I could drink this!!!!!

  • can you be my science teacher please i would learn soo much from you :D

  • He has such butter fingers xD

He's always dropping stuff in his videos

  • Who else got here from Ellen Degeneres?

  • i want to cover my bike in this

  • that was pink not red. Or am i colorblind?

  • Now drink it :D

  • The chemicals u need to make a glowstick are

    A fluoroscent dye

    Sodium acetate

TCPO or Bis 2-4-6 (trichlorophenyl) oxalate

    Hydrogen Peroxide

  • "primary colors: red, green, and blue" NONONONONONO. OH GOD NO.

  • @GrimKittyD yes, yes they are.

  • "And the kids think they're battery powered -"

What thick kids are thinking this??

  • @xcgxparawhore I was thinking the same thing.

  • at 2:33 did he say bring the lights back up again when the lights were already on???

  • were can you get those chemicals from?

  • العلم جميل

  • What r da 2 chemicals

  • hmm deliciuse glowing cool-aid :D

  • when i saw those glowsticks i thought of penumbra :)

  • why am i watching all of these?

  • Take the 2 shots, then go pee in the dark. Epic.

  • first u stab urself with the broken glass from the ambule than the biolumincent chemicals seap into your body. good job steve.

  • Is't that really toxic?

  • the two cups are the two chemicals in the ampule?

  • @lemonfriend526 yes, just makes sure to not get the glass shards from the broken ampule in your hands and don't inject the liquid

  • what chemicals are these someone please tell me >>>?

  • @101PinkThink you know those glow sticks they cracked basically they cut the top and pull out the 2 chemicals and put in a cup and mixed them together but there are other ways you can make it glow

  • @101PinkThink The ones inside a glow stick...

  • @101PinkThink just look up glowsticks dude.

  • @101PinkThink phenol and hydrogen peroxide

  • @101PinkThink Glow sticks

  • @101PinkThink

    Dietyl Pthalate

    9,10 Bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene

    Bis 2,4,6 (trichlorophenyl)oxalate

    Sodium acetate

    30% Hydrogen Peroxide

  • @101PinkThink

    30% hydrogen perioxide

    florencent dye and

    diphenyl oxalate

  • SSSHAAAAAAINAAAAAAAY SHINY SHINY SHINY SHINY SHINY

  • this is going to be my science experiment

  • thats clearly pink

  • Aren't the primary colors red, YELLOW and blue???

  • @KrystoSilver Nope. You're thinking of subtractive colour - the colour model you see with paints and dyes - but even then, the primary colours are magenta, yellow and cyan. Because red and blue are so close to magenta and cyan, and because we they generally result in more pleasing colours, we tend to use red, blue and yellow as base paints and dyes. In additive colour, the model we use for light, the primary colours are red, green and blue. Look at your computer monitor very close up.

  • @KrystoSilver your right because blue and yellow are used to make green

  • is that quantum cola from fallout ????

  • @VGMoney i was thinking Nuka Cola too XD

  • @VGMoney Nuka Cola Quantum....not quantum cola

  • seriously, is this safe to touch?

  • That meas that if you break it once, you can't break it twice ?

  • i remember putting glow sticks in the fridge after using them, for it to last longer

  • then I guess she will glow when I have my pee in her toilet.....

  • Avatar

  • guy #1: will this disolve my skin if i touch it?

guy #2 and woman: just a bit, just a little bit, not that much.

  • i opened 1 and mix it in water, added an effervescent tablet in a jar and closed the lid and i got a glowing lava lamp.

  • Would be awesome if u could drink it without dying

  • "The kids think it's battery powered"...how dumb does he think kids are?

  • @Hadleton 5-year-olds? Pretty dumb, if you ask me. No offense, just saying your question is subjective.

  • i attuly had a glow stick and got bored so i bit it and it made a whole and it went all in my mouth!

  • i need me some of that

  • Now what would happen if you put the glowing liquid into highly absorbent polymers

  • HE IS IN COLORADO I LIVE IN PUEBLO COLORADO HA

  • what are the chemicals?

  • What did you they when they mixed? water and some liquid glow sticks?

  • wth did they use?

  • 00:48 I never thought they were powered by batteries...but I guess that was just me.

  • Pick up your glow sticks.. lol

  • wow this is cool

  • 0.0 :D!!!! I love this!!!! And i love things that glow! x3 I found it funny how the guy on the left said: Will this dissolve my skin if i touch it??? Steve says: Just a little bit... o.o n i said define "a little bit" 0.0

  • @DavidFan7 You use too much Punctuation Lol

  • hi steve, i have a rubber wrist band ( or whatever you call it,) it glows in the dark so i was wondering if yo know how , thnx

  • @MosterHamster it is called as glow wrist bands! just stretch it u will see small particles these particles are called as florescent particles! these absorbs the light and it glows in the dark!:)

  • @MosterHamster is it a sillyband?

  • lol since when is green a primary color 2:02

  • she snapped that stick a little too well thumbs up if you agree

  • she snaped tht stick a littel too well thumbs up if you agree

  • sure forth of july. not raves.

  • If i dip a shirt and let it dry, will it glow?

  • @SergioI08 probably but only for a while, and will probably burn your skin.

  • @SergioI08 try it

  • @SergioI08 probably not, the chemical reaction will complete and that ends the effect.

  • @SergioI08 probably

  • @SergioI08 Not if you let it dry, since the chemicals are reacting with eachother, i wont last forever. This is why normal glow-sticks wear off after a while

  • @SergioI08 no, the reaction finishes after about 12 hours

  • @SergioI08 Unfortunately this reaction runs out of energy after about the same amount of time a glowstick glows for.

  • @SergioI08 No it won't! Buy glow powder and spinkle it on your shirt, point UV light at it for a while and see it glow

  • @SergioI08 Good question, that would be cool! Can anyone answer this? :)

  • @SergioI08 Well, like a glowstick, it will lose its light after a few hours.

  • @SergioI08 No, unless someone where to find new substances to mix. Its like if you were to cut a glow stick open and sprinkled it everywhere. In other words if its still glowing then its still in liquid form. By the time it drys it will stop glowing. I suggest just buying a glow t-shirt because if you were to wear one wet it would probably just result VERY badly

  • @SergioI08 No, because once it evaporates, it can no longer react.

  • @SergioI08 About three years ago at my end of the year bowling party, we got glow stick bracelets and all. One of them had a leak, got on the collar of my shirt and glowed for awhile. So it will glow faintly for awhile but like all glow sticks, the glow will stop once the chimerical reaction is done.

Warning: The liquid in the glow sticks will stain your shirt. The white part of the shirt I was wearing is now forever a light green. Only do this to a shirt you dont care about.

  • @SergioI08 no, sorry.

  • what are those 2 chemicals u mentioned?????..

  • I love tis experement!!!

I love sience, and astronomy more than anyting in the WORLD!

  • @KittyLoverStudios9 SAME! :D

  • i wish tha guy was mah dad

  • sweet

  • sweet

  • i would probly pay to have him as a science teacher. thx for uploading

  • is that how a black light is made

  • @NewHOTtopic No.

  • how long does it glow?

  • @ILovePuppies4321 Probably the same length as a glow stick, an 30 min to an hour possibly.

  • @ILovePuppies4321 the two chemicals form an energy that glows i tried this yesterday it WORKED

  • @shammy672 you mean 5?

  • If you heat up the glow sticks with a blow torch, it gets really bright. Just in case anyone was interested.

  • that guy says sure enough alot in most of their videos

  • if by "kids" you mean toddlers... I don't think they know what batteries are..

  • i knew how to make a walkalong glider

  • i wish i knew how to make a walkalong glider

  • i got 1 i opend it and it was a chemical Rip me

  • he is very good

  • press 4!!! ultimate nose digging!!!

  • CrystalS

  • hey u i dont think that they are battery powerered!!!!!!!!!got it????

  • divinci code LOL

  • Green is NOT a primary color.

  • @DaRoachDogg Actually, it is. In Art class, the primary colors are Red Yellow Blue, because they're paint: the paint colors /reflect/ Red, Yellow, and Blue when shined on by natural/white light. But when you're talking about actual colored light mixing, on say a white surface, the colors are Red Green and Blue. Try getting some red/green/blue and yellow light bulbs, and put them in lamps and mix them... you'll see which one makes other colors and which ones don't.

  • @vaevictusnet u just had to point that out, didnt u?

  • can it be consumed?

  • i cracked one when i was younger and it blew up and went all over me and got on my walls in my room and it was a bad time

  • Wow I wish Steve Spangler was my science teacher.

  • No yellow in science?

  • Wow I really love things that glow!!

    COOL

perfect for a 8th grade project

  • who thought glow sticks were battery powered haha

  • Just to point out that this stuff is probably toxic, so DON'T drink it.

  • @jedenbeen It's not probably toxic, it's very toxic.

  • Pause, And then Play and press 8 repeatedly to see a real life Nazi Zombie.

  • is that really dangerous or was he joking about it??

  • @961kgb No, it's toxic, so you have to be careful while playing with it.

  • green isn't primary its secondary!

  • unce unce unce

  • I JUST WANNA KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT FOR PETE'S SAKE!!!

  • What kind of kids is this guy hanging out with? Battery powered?

  • "ooh sure enough look at that" haha

  • Won't it be beast if they drank it and then they start to glow? :0

  • I live in kenya and cannot go to school. instead I follow my cows.

  • but can you drink it

  • so if i pee, will my pee glow?

  • Put it on a ghost costume,and you're an actual ghost! :)

  • you guys should rave. LOL.

  • what kid thinks there battery powered...

  • @hitchcockwannabe EXACTLY LOL

  • I VANT TO DRINKETH IT!!!! XD

  • Thumbs up if your board and u just were watchign this guys videos :p

  • @PACKRAT95 no im a table ):

  • @TheQwertyAssassin Maybe. It'd be funny to watch u shake and die from the chemicals 8D

  • If you were to pour the two chemicals into a bowl or a bucket and put a shirt in it, could you make the shirt glow in the dark? Or would it wash out after you put it in the laundry?

  • one time on the fourth of july my brother had one and it broke and the liquid went in his mouth and the inside of his mouth was glowing and my mom was freaking out

  • what are the liquid names and where can you get them?

  • What are the c h e m i c a l s and where can you get them?

  • @uxa1 i dont my science teacher was a very out of the box and curriculum kind of teacher

  • What are the liquids?

  • im gonna do this for my school science prodject

  • wow they are so dumb the primary colors are blue red and yellow!

  • 2:16 he said could we make hwhite

  • @cutie9325 green red and blue are the SCIENCE primary colours

  • well now i can see when i go to the bathroom at night!

  • @mostwanted6111 thats exactly what I typed in >.< soo... bored

  • Ohhh would ya look at that?

  • i tthought yellow is the primary color not green

  • @cutie9325 yellow is one of the primary colors. green is a secondary. you are correct
