  • @austin01478963.... you go onto youtube, break the age rule, and ask for something that takes WEEKS to make for free? wow.... just wow.....

  • omg fail

  • Cute kid, babbling in the background.

  • whoah!!

i would never use a glove for this.

i heard terrible stories of people having their hands squeezed.

you should better use a leather lobe...

but thank you for the video

  • dremel tool with reinforced cutting wheel. Coat with candle wax for lubrication and boom you got urself a pile of rings in no time. I cut half way through my coil then crimp the rings(break them off one by one)

  • PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!! how can i cut my rings out faster?! i am currently using wire cutters, and it is so slow and boring! ARGH!

  • I use a hack saw to cut them because this makes a cleaner cut and more flush fit when the rings are done, but it is actualy slower than wire cutters. Wire cutters are about the fastest thing I have found to cut them.

  • @turtlehitman Don't use standard wire cutters. Use 8" bolt cutters. Depending on where you get them from, they'll run about $12-$15.

  • make sure ur not using any crappy pair of wire cutters some are extremely hard to cut with. try going to home depot they sell pretty good ones there. im able to cut 8 rings in 3 seconds with the ones i got from there, but their like 18 bucks.--

  • @HullAL09 thats why its a labor of love dude

  • @HullAL09 My dad came up with a faster way of cutting the rings. I put a link to his first video at the front of this one.

  • how would you cut it with a hack saw... it doesn't stay on the spring for me

  • I just go slow.

  • try a battery power drill with a clutch, they're much safer, i learned the hard way.

  • barbless wire? lol. what's wrong with smaller drills. most drills can take up to 1/2" and have more than enough power if i can do this by hand on a wooden rod.

one question what do you use to cut it, i find cable cutters to be the best. the ones with scissor action. or higher shelf sheet metal cutters.

  • The wire is between 12 and 13 gage mild steel. most people I've seen use 18 or 16 gage. Smaller drills can pull it but they heat up really bad.

I use a hack saw to cut it. This makes a cleaner cut and more flush fit when the rings are done.

  • Can you explain more about you're custom pipe you put the mandrel through. and how you use it in more detail. also how you how you made it in more detail.

  • I'll try. I don't have internet at my house at the monent I will get it in about two weeks I'll try to have it then.

  • sorry i havent got that vid up yet. i am working on it
