Throughout the south are thousands of little isolated townships where people are living in third world conditions.

If your answer is for me to send money to some unknown (to me) address, how far would that really go? From what I gather about watching these films, the two main issues are lack of industry and and education in the areas profiled. Even if the jobs were there to be had, would there be enough potential workers with the necessary skills to fill them?

Raising awareness is one of the most important things I can do to help. Because of the video tapes. People from all over the United States will be coming to Mississippi this month to lay out a plan that can help someone in need. Once again, if there were jobs, the skills would be another issues or challenge.
