Hey, I made this jump last year. The tide was bad. I had to swim all the way over to the beach! Man, it was a crazy jump! After my cousin and I made the jump everyone was telling us about the whirlpool and the riptide!
Yeah, i almost got sucked down the whirlpool, after I jumped. (right before derekgoes) The tide goes out and in, creating a "toilet flush" right at the only spot that you can get out of the water. I was grabbed by a bradda on the rocks, just in time! MAHALO

I jumped off that Rock, too.
There are big turtles under the water.
My son and I almost got washed away by the rip tide.
It was frightening, but one of the biggest thrills of our lives.
Touching the turtles was amazing.
