Thank you dear Abbas, you were my idol when I was a young boy living in Tehran and you are still with me now that I am much older living away from my country... My heart aches when I hear your warm voice and listen to your melody. You will never be forgotten, God bless you wherever you are.
I remember when i was a little child my father used to wake us up in Friday mornings( 8 am!) with songs of Mehrpouya and Vigen... I love them both and i miss those days a lot...

When I listen to these sort of music , I just wish never and ever any revolution happened and I could be in my country , it reminds me those days when I was child with my father and my mom in the warm summer afternoon listening to this song, Oh God I miss everything in my country
I grew up listening to Mehrpooya on 45 vinyls and old gramaphones when there were no tape-players. By the time I was a teen in early 70s he had already retired from singing.
He was always ahead of time in his style and I loved the sound of his seetar.
I apologize in advance....MARG BAR ISLAM,QURAN, MULLAHS.AND ALL OTHERS INVOLVED in Islamic revoluSHIT. JAVID IRAN LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN.
