Roccat Kone[+] 6000DPI Gaming Mouse Review

Hey was wondering what do you think of Roccat Kova+? Is it good? Was considering Kone but the price isn't quite right for me.

@ozelot92k I'm thinking the same thing... The Roccat looks a lot better and from what I've seen it seems to have a better key binding system than the very ugly RA.T.7

However, the Roccat does cost a bitt more... tough choise...

Hi thanks a lot for the video, i have i little question if you have the time, i had a roccat kone mouse in the past but i didnt liked very much the top buttons because i needed to click very hard on them, i am used to the Logitech MX518 could you tell me if on the Roccat Kone + you dont have to press hard on the top 3 buttons, or in case you may know about MX518 if needs the same light pressure, thank you.

@Springleify I haven't had that problem with any of those mice. Well it hasn't bothered me anyway. It could break in eventually and get a bit easier to press if you're lucky.

I think 6000 DPI is useless, 400 - 1800 DPI is enough

@Pechifying It certainly has more customization. Mice are really up to the individual, they both have very nice features to offer and are great mice. Check out my review on the Mamba 2012.

@MyBlade78 My personal preference out of those three is the Razer Mamba 4G (the new 6400DPI edition). That is what I am using at the moment and I am liking it a lot. I have tried the other two and they were also very good, but for me they just dont quite match up to my Mamba.

@benajdormer The Kone+ has the most driver customization I have ever seen. I really like the surface calibration and also the distance it picks up the surface from, customization. The Kone+ is an awesome mouse, its extremely comfortable too. Id prefer it over the RAT7. I mean the RAT is fully adjustable which is great, but even with all the adjustments I still found it uncomfortable. The G700 is a nice mouse, check out the review on my channel. I use the Mamba currently.

@Mavvi3095 Logitech in my opinion is the best mouse out right now and tbh it was somewhat of a very slight awkwardness when switching from MAMBA to G700 for about 2-3 days then it went away ... then just to test i went back to my MAMBA then it seemed a bit slow so that's y i came to a conclusion where G700 > MAMBA

but i dont know about this product ...... but i always stick to my philosophy when it comes to electronics brands, that it is like fine wine the older it is the more valuable

@amanberry077 I really like the RAT 7 & 9 for how adjustable they are. The ability to adjust the RAT to fit you hand is just awesome. I had one for a while and got it perfect for my hand. The pinky rest is the best part of it. The Razer Naga I would go for if I was into MMORPG, that is what its pretty much designed for with all the extra buttons. Its a nice comfortable mouse. But I wouldnt go for it unless I was going to use all the buttons. For FPS I would get a RAT 7 or preferably the 9.

@amanberry077 I did have trouble with the tracking of the RAT mice though. Also because of all the adjustments I find I keep wanting to change it, even when I have found a perfect adjustment. The Roccat Kone+ I am very impressed with. Overall, personally I would go for the Roccat. Just because of the sheer customizations that you can do to it in the software. For me the shape of it is already perfect.

However I do want to buy accessories for the new PC I will be building sooner or later and you've made me change my mind on the Razer Naga Epic and now I want this xD... what do you suggest for a keyboard? I got a Razer Lycosa atm, but I haven't got a high budget n.n

@amanberry077 Check out my next video. I'm currently uploading it so it should be up within the hour. It is about the Logitech G510, but it also shows the Razer Black Widow and Logitech G15 (ancient) and G19. There is a new Roccat keyboard coming out called the Isku. Its designed to be used with the Kone+. I will do a review on it when it comes out.
