Radial tires are meant to resist this kind of sidewall load. You are asking for trouble. Spending less on a car tire trying to save a buck is putting your life in serious danger.
The more you lean the smaller it gets and if your the kind of rider who finds the limits of your bike having a contact patch that changes that drastically is just a bad idea, what is going to happen in an emergency situation like if a pedestrian steps out in front of you wail your making a right turn or there is a deer or derbies in the road around a blind corner? All so the carcass/side walls are not built for leaning and could blow out. What about the bead are they the same?
Has anyone checked with the insurance companies? It's not a "motorcycle" tire so in the instance of a crash I've heard your insurance can deny a claim. Hope you're saving enough money buying car tires to foot the bill for that Lexus you just rear ended.
Ok... currently ride a CBR1000 RR, a CBRXX, a 750 Gixer and an R6 ( but the gixer and R6 are just track bikes.. not street legal )
If dickhead has an ACU licence happy to race on a track. if dickhead aint got a licence and wants to street race, no rules, happier still... But hey, lets take a look at this shall we. The guy riding cant even afford riding gear,, he is riding what looks like a crushed up NY taxi ( as much luggage and plastic bits just not so well put together )..
fdjizm: Wow. You know nothing about darkside and you call dardsiders morons. That makes you sound really stupid.
