Still haven't been able to beat this game.... Ugh...
I was at the final boss too, with a Knight/Ninja/Red Wizard/Master. (At least I think those are the names). I dunno if that was the best combo in the world, but what the hell.
The first time I played this, I had a Fighter, Thief, Black Belt, and Red Mage.
I thought that the Red Mage would be good enough for healing and attacking, and he was, I just would have loved to have a multi targeting healing move.
I think that party is more suited to my style, though. I like being able to attack with everyone instead of having two people who can't deal decent damage without magic.
If you can listen to this track literally hundreds of times during the game in short intervals and smile every single time you hear it, then you know it is made of epic, unimaginable win.
And this is one of endless reasons why Nobuo Uematsu should almost be knighted for his incredible work.
Let's just hope that those "cultured people" stop being such video game nazis and realize what gold the entire medium is.
@MAZZ0Murder I still have a ps2, so I haven't played the newer ff games. Are they still using this victory theme, like they did all the way up to ffx-2?
