i have level 40 + i cant remeber and i get muny by well quests going in to dufieons and the fat faggs drop glass weps also wen ur high lev like 20+ go to border watch they all got gall nd daederic stuff kill em all tek all there stuff then sel it or use it to help u. i leveled up high by getting the easy skills up like i bought sommet like 5000 strong magic pots then just hotkeyd em and coionjured do same style but with oher skils. anyways hoped that help

you can find lockpicks in the random crates in the imperial city

dont worry if it is a white hand you can take it :)

and as for armor the way I got some good armour is during the kavach mission theres a chance some legion guards will help you LET THEM DIE and take their legion armour and the steel weapons.

you can also get good armour if you do all the random quests in the imperial city sometimes the enemies you have to fight have good armour and you can take it :)

You can use the duplication cheat for money/items, its without a doubt the easiest way to get money. When I make new chars I always use alchemy as one of my major skills and dupe the ingredients to max out alch and I'm lvl7 within like 20 minutes.

To get unlimited gold just use the dupe cheat on expensive items and sell them.

why not use the permenent effects from duped items glitch

1.get 2 of the same ring/amulet ,e.g. ring of feather

2.equip 1

3.dupe the rings using the scroll method

4. coz u duped them it will take the equiped ring off you aswell

5. u will have the effects but you won't have the ring/amulet on

p.s save before doing, i don't recommend doing it with chameleon coz it gets really annoying coz u can't get rid of it

3. fill them.

4. enhance 5 pieces of clothing/jewelery with +10 int.(for the mana).

5. make an spell 57 fire dmg 57 shock 57 cold(any higher will require lvl 100 destr.)on touch.

6. now go kick some ass. it requires 3/4th of your mana now so if you miss youre screwed.

acctualy, i tryed that (before i saw this comment) its good at low levels, but once i was in my 20s (when the leveled monsters are at there max) i found having stunted magicka to be a pain, what i did as an alternitave was pick apprentice instead of atronarch, sure u have 100% weakness to spells, but who in oblivion acctualy gets hit by those slow moving things.... Anyway, you should try apprentice :D

The PC version of Oblivion is better in that you can mod the game. You can even download mods that bring you a whole new game world.

However, the 360 and PS3 versions don't require any kind of upgrading if your hardware is a little bit lacking. So if you just wanna play a plain vanilla Oblivion, get the console ones. But if you want the best experience, PC is the way to go.

I have both (had it for 360 and wanted to get mods), and I like the 360 more. It's somehow more immersive, and the quality of your hardware doesn't affect anything. It is nice to get mods, but there aren't really that many good mods. Most are just ridiculous weapons that look cool but make the game unenjoyable.
